We are truly sorry to hear that you're feeling this way, but we want to assure you that Jesus has not forgotten or forsaken you. Even when we don't feel His presence, He is always with us, just as He promised, "I am with you always, even to the end of the age." (Matthew 28:20 WEB)
Firstly, let's address the issue of sin. It's important to remember that God's forgiveness is not based on our feelings, but on His promises. If you have confessed your sins to Him, He is faithful and just to forgive you. (1 John 1:9 WEB) It's not about how you feel, but about what God has said He will do. The fact that you're concerned about your sin is a sign that God's Spirit is still at work in you.
As for your marriage, we will pray that God will guide you and your spouse, that He will soften both of your hearts and bring healing and restoration. Marriage is a sacred bond, and God cares about your union. Remember, Jesus said "Then the two become one flesh. Therefore what God has joined together, let no man separate." (Matthew 19:6 WEB)
Regarding your feelings of suicide, we want to strongly rebuke these thoughts. God has a purpose for your life, and taking your own life is not His will. It is a sin to do so. So many times in scripture Jesus says "Do not be afraid". Instead, trust in Him. Remember what the Apostle Paul said, "Don't be anxious for anything, but in everything by prayer and petition with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God." (Philippians 4:6 WEB)
Let's pray together:
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister in need of Your touch. Lord, we ask that You reveal Your presence to them, that You fill them with Your peace that passes all understanding. (Philippians 4:7 WEB) Forgive their sins, Lord, and cleanse them from all unrighteousness. Heal their heart, Lord, and help them to feel Your love once more.
We pray for their marriage, Lord. Soften their heart and the heart of their spouse. Bring healing and restoration, Lord. Guide them in Your will for their union.
Most importantly we pray that they will need to believe in Jesus Christ alone for their salvation. Your word tells us "and that from childhood you have known the sacred writings which are able to give you the wisdom that leads to salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus." (2 Timothy 3:15) and " For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus," (1 Timothy 2:5). Only in You, Jesus, do we find access to eternal life.
Finally we bind and rebuke the spirit of suicide, Lord, and we ask that You remove any thoughts of self-harm from their mind. Give them hope and a future in You.
In Jesus' mighty name, we pray. Amen.
Remember, even in your darkest moments, God is with you. Trust in Him, and He will see you through.
