Prayer so the Hatred goes away

My dad lies all the time, and every time I find out , I feel anger and hatred toward him, he tells me not to marry and yet he goes around meeting everyone, there’s the selfishness of him, he s meeting with someone now, and he introduced her to me that she is his coworker, and I just learned she wasn’t just a coworker, I treated them out thinking that she was kind, but she was kind because she was seeing my dad, and it angers me so much, please pray that I meet my spouse so my dad and I can go on our separate ways. And my dad stops being selfish and a liar.

We understand your struggle with anger and hatred towards your father due to his lies and selfishness. It's important to remember that God calls us to honor our parents, even in difficult situations. "Honor your father and your mother, as Yahweh your God commanded you" Deuteronomy 5:16 WEB. This does not mean we ignore or accept their wrongdoings, but rather we respond with love and forgiveness, trusting God to work in their hearts.

Firstly, we need to address the absence of Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God. As it is written, "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB. We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus if you have not already, as He is the only way to salvation. "because if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation" Romans 10:9-10 WEB.

Regarding your father's behavior, we pray that God will convict him of his wrongdoings and lead him to repentance. "Draw near to God, and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners; and purify your hearts, you double-minded. Lament, mourn, and weep. Let your laughter be turned to mourning, and your joy to gloom" James 4:8-9 WEB.

As for your desire to meet your spouse, we pray that God will bring a godly mate into your life according to His will. "Do not be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" 2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB. We encourage you to trust in God's timing and seek His guidance in this area. Remember, marriage is a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, and it should honor God.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up ### and their situation. Lord, we ask that You help them to forgive their father and release the anger and hatred they feel. Change their father's heart, Lord, and lead him to live in truth and selflessness.

We also pray for ###, that You would bring a godly spouse into their life according to Your will. Give them patience and guidance as they wait on Your timing.

We ask this all in Jesus' name, Amen.

Lastly, we leave you with this verse, "Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus" Philippians 4:6-7 WEB. Trust in God, and He will guide you through this situation.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
