We understand that you're going through a challenging time with your sleep, and we're here to support you in prayer and to provide biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for praying in Jesus' name, as it is only through Him that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB: "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.'"
In regards to your sleep, we want to encourage you with these words from Psalm 127:2 WEB: "It is vain for you to rise up early, to stay up late, eating the bread of toil; for he gives sleep to his beloved." God knows your need for rest. It is interesting that this is the assistant of God to bring us sleep. He is there waiting to do that, if we will have faith to trust him for it.
Let us pray for you:
"Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Anonymous who has been struggling with interrupted sleep thoughout the week. We ask that You grant him restorative, uninterrupted sleep and help them to address this ongoing issue. This may also be an attack from Satan, designed to weary them out. Help them to take authority over the devil's activities against them, in the name of Jesus. They are called to rest, and they have a right to that rest in the name of Jesus. Grant them that rest, calm their mind, their body, and their home. Help them to have peace and rest according to Your wholeness and holiness. Grant them this, we pray, so that You can be glorified through them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
Remember waves from the sea wash up on the beach but don't worry about the sounds from the world that you hear which interrupts your sleep. We are encouraged to not be afraid or worry about those sounds by the following verse in Psalm 92:5-7 WEB: "How great are your works, Yahweh! Your thoughts are very deep. A senseless man does not know, neither does a fool understand this: though the wicked spring up as the grass, and all the evil-doers flourish, they will be destroyed forever." Nevertheless, if those sounds cause interruptions in your sleep, they should be addressed and by doing so, in and of itself, indicates a proactive response to the issue.
Lastly, consider Psalm 4:8 WEB: "I will lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety." This encourages us to trust in the Lord for our sleep, knowing that He alone keeps us safe. Take your concerns about the noises and just lay them down before the Lord and let him carry those worries.
It should be noted that the number of hours of sleep is not important as mentioned in the prayer request. What is important here is having peace and rest during the entire period of sleep. That is what we prayed for.
