We are deeply touched by your prayer requests, Maelyr, and we join you in seeking God's will and intervention in these areas. Let us bring your concerns before the Lord, aligning our hearts with His Word.
Firstly, we lift up your dear mother who has been bedridden due to stroke. We know that God is the ultimate healer. In Exodus 15:26, God says, "If you will diligently listen to the voice of Yahweh your God, and will do that which is right in his sight, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am Yahweh who heals you." We pray for her complete healing and restoration, asking God to strengthen her body and spirit.
Regarding your academic pursuits, we trust that God, who began a good work in you, will be faithful to complete it (Philippians 1:6). We pray that He will provide the necessary financial resources for your final term fees and research work. Remember, Jesus assures us in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
As for your desire to marry by next year, we encourage you to trust in God's timing and seek His will. In Proverbs 18:22, it is written, "Whoever finds a wife finds a good thing, and obtains favor of Yahweh." We pray that God will guide you to the spouse He has prepared for you and that your union will bring glory to His name. We encourage you to pursue a godly marriage, as outlined in the Bible, with another Christian believer.
We also join you in praying for speed and progress in your finances. Remember, it is God who gives us the power to gain wealth (Deuteronomy 8:18). Trust in His provision and align your desires with His will.
Lastly, we cover your family in prayer, asking for divine protection and provision. We rebuke any spirit of lack and stagnation, claiming God's promises for your family. In Jeremiah 29:11, God declares, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future."
Maelyr, we noticed that your prayer request does not mention the name of Jesus. It is by His name that we have access to God's throne of grace (Hebrews 4:16). In Acts 4:12, it is written, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" Let us always approach God in Jesus' name, believing in His power to save and transform our lives.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Maelyr and their family. We ask for Your healing touch on their mother, for Your provision in their academic pursuits, for Your guidance in their quest for a godly spouse, and for Your blessings on their finances and family.
