We are here to pray with you and provide biblical guidance in this challenging situation. First, we want to address the seriousness of the thoughts you've expressed. Taking one's own life is not a solution and is a grave sin. As it is written in 1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB, "What? Don't you know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought with a price. Therefore, glorify God in your body and in your spirit, which are God's." Your life is precious to God, and He has a purpose for you.
Regarding the pregnancy, we pray that God's will be done in your life. It's important to remember that life is sacred and a gift from God. Psalm 139:13-16 WEB reminds us, "For you formed my inmost being. You knit me together in my mother's womb. I will give thanks to you, for I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Your works are wonderful. My soul knows that very well. My frame wasn't hidden from you, when I was made in secret, woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my body. In your book they were all written, the days that were ordained for me, when as yet there were none of them."
We also want to address the vow you made to God. It's important to fulfill vows made to God, as seen in Ecclesiastes 5:4 WEB, "When you vow a vow to God, don't defer to pay it; for he has no pleasure in fools. Pay that which you vow." We encourage you to start doing what is right, aligning your life with biblical principles. This includes maintaining purity and turning away from sexual immorality. As it is written in Ephesians 5:3 WEB, "But sexual immorality, and all uncleanness, or covetousness, let it not even be mentioned among you, as becomes saints."
However, we notice your prayer does not mention Jesus Christ. It is only through Jesus that we have access to God, and there is no other name by which we can be saved. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" We encourage you to put your faith in Jesus Christ, believing that He died for your sins and rose again, so that you may have eternal life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up this precious soul in prayer. Lord, we ask for Your will to be done in this situation. If it is Your will, we ask that You intervene in this potential pregnancy, and we also pray for forgiveness and repentance for any actions not aligned with Your word. We ask for Your healing touch on this person's heart and mind, removing all thoughts of harm and replacing them with Your love, hope, and peace. Help them to turn away from any sin and to live a life that honors You. We also pray that they will come to know You as their Lord and Savior, trusting in Your name alone for salvation. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
