Prayer requests for my mom having a biopsy Monday

Hello. My mom is 72. She's had lung cancer 3 times. They found another suspicious spot on her lungs during her last scans back in December. They did a PET scan and they still didn't know what the spot was, so they decided to do a biopsy. That is on Monday. She does body mapping on Wednesday for radiation in case it is something. The last few months have been difficult for her because she had a COPD flare-up on October, and then pulled a muscle in November, and then in December, she got a compression fracture in her thoracic spine. I'm praying that her health improves, that this spot is nothing, but if it is something that radiation takes care of it. I love my mom a lot and I want her to be okay. I would appreciate some extra prayers for her.

We are with you in spirit, lifting up your mother and your family during this challenging time. First, we want to remind you of the power of prayer and the importance of bringing our requests to God in the name of Jesus. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Bhaumaroerser's mother. Lord, You know her by name and have seen her every struggle and triumph. We ask, Jesus, that You be with the doctors performing the biopsy on Monday, guiding their hands and granting them wisdom. If it is Your will, let this spot be nothing of concern. But if it is something that needs attention, we pray that the radiation treatment will be effective in healing her body.

Father, we also pray for her overall health and strength. She has faced so many challenges in recent months, but we know that with You, all things are possible. We pray for her COPD to improve and for her body to heal from the muscle strain and compression fracture.

Lord, we ask for Your peace to fill Bhaumaroerser's heart and the hearts of their family members. Help them to trust in You and to cast all their anxieties on You, knowing that You care for them. As it is written in 1 Peter 5:7 WEB, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."

Father, we also pray for Bhaumaroerser's mom's salvation and that she will be encouraged to draw nearer to you.. If she has not already done so, we pray that she will call on the name of Jesus, confessing Him as her Lord and Savior. Remind her that You are close to the brokenhearted and save those who are crushed in spirit.

We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.

Bhaumaroerser, remember that God is faithful and that He hears your prayers. Stand firm in your faith and trust in His goodness. Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."

Keep praying and keep trusting, for God is with you and your family during this time.

Lastly, we would like to strongly encourage you to continue to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. Only by His name do we have access to God the Father. As it is written in John 14:6 WEB, "Jesus said to him, I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me." There is power in Jesus' name and praying in His name helps us to be reminded of this and stay connected to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
