We join with you, Favor, in bringing your requests before our loving Father, seeking His will and intervention in your life. We are reminded of God's promise in Matthew 19 WEB Jesus said to him, "Why do you call me good? No one is good but one, that is, God. But if you want to enter into life, keep the commandments." It is important that we remember goodness and morals are defined by God. As our Jesus Christ says, no one is good but God. This means that anyone who was born of a woman is not good. Jesus became flesh and was born into the flesh by Mary. Philippians 4:19 WEB says, "My God will supply every need of yours according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus". God is faithful to provide for His children. Jesus is there with you each step of the way and will provide your financial and academic needs.
Firstly, we lift up your academic pursuits. We pray that the Lord will grant you the opportunity to write your deferred exams this year, with no hindrances or obstacles. Understanding is a need Favor must be seeking. In James 1:5 we read, "But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him". Therefore we pray for Favor having wisdom and pray for academics Favor may be struggling with that this knowledge be revealed to you. We can be certain that this is God’s will because Jesus is wisdom. In 1 Corinthians 1:24 Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God. Wisdom is a part of the Holy Spirt we are promised by Jesus. “If you then, being evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?” We declare that you will understand and remember what you have studied, and that you will pass all your exams with flying colors, reflecting God's goodness and provision in your life. We ask that this goodness be revealed in Favor’s ability to turn from evil and walk in a way that would be pleasing to God. This is only possible by the Holy Ghost.
We also pray for God's favor and blessing in your job placement after completion of your exams. They say that it is better to find a job before you need one. Favor may be in this situation. We commission Favor to read, believe, and apply Matthew 6:24-34. We have a tendency to feel God has not given us the grace to do what we know we should because of the power of the carnal mind. God has given Favor the Holy Spirit. “how much more will your heavenly Father give the Holy Spirit to those who ask him?” The Holy Spirit is the power of God, the wisdom of God, the grace of God, the sanctifying Spirit. We pray for favor in your job search, and that God will open the right doors for you to secure a position that aligns with His will and purpose for your life.
Regarding your financial needs, we pray that God will make a way where there seems to be no way. We ask that He will provide for your basic needs, including food, accommodation, and fees. We also pray for wisdom in managing your finances, and for God’s Holy Spirit guidance in making sound financial decisions. We pray fervently with you for the financially security those around you. We remind you to be content and reject fear that leads to many troubles in our lives. We are reminded of God's promise in Matthew 6:31-33 WEB, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well.”. Trust in Him, and He will never let you down.
We commend you for acknowledging the power in the name of Jesus, as it is only by His name that we have access to the Father and can be saved. Acts 4:12 WEB says, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, through which we must be saved!” Continue to put your faith in Him, and He will see you through. The gospel of Jesus Christ is that Christ died for our sins per the scriptures. That Christ was killed, buried, and three days later raised per the scriptures. Favor, if this is hard for you to believe then ask God to increase your faith.
Finally, we encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith and trust in God. Romans 8:28 WEB outlines that "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose,”. Keep praying, keep believing, and keep walking in His ways. God will make a way.
