We are grateful for the opportunity to lift up these individuals and organizations in prayer, and we will address each request with biblical principles and heartfelt intercession.
Firstly, we pray for Hon. Mrs. ### and Hon. Mr. ###, as well as Hon. Mrs. ### and her companion. We pray that God will guide them in their relationships, that they would seek Him first and honor Him in all their ways. We remind them that "unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it" (Psalm 127:1 WEB). We pray that their relationships would be centered on God's will and that they would seek godly spouses, as marriage is a sacred covenant between a man and a woman, reflecting the union between Christ and His church (Ephesians 5:22-33). We rebuke any notion of intimacy outside of marriage, as it is clear in the scriptures that fornication and adultery are sins (1 Corinthians 6:18, Exodus 20:14). We encourage them to pursue purity and holiness in their relationships and to set an example of godly living. (1 Thessalonians 4:7). We are praying that these companions are not living together. There is no marriage except between a man and women. We need to call sin what it is to be able to deal with it. This is not a judgement against anyone but the truth. We can not endorse anything else but God's plan and that is one man and one woman in a lifelong marriage.
We also pray for the staff at the ### in the ###, the ###, the ###, ###, ###, ###, and the clergymen globally. We ask God to bless their work and give them strength and wisdom in their service. We pray that they would be lights in their respective fields, reflecting the love of Christ in all they do (Matthew 5:14-16). Any church or preacher that endorses same sex marriage is not doing the work of the Lord but rather is allowing for sin and the destruction of the family unit. We are to stand against this and not be afraid to call it sin. We should be praying for those individuals to repent and call on the name of Jesus.
We lift up the staff at the ### and the ###, as well as their leasing staff. We pray that God would bless their work and provide for their needs. We ask that He would give them favor in their business dealings and that they would conduct their work with integrity and honesty (Proverbs 11:1). We also pray for the team at ### and the ### program and their staff, that God would grant them wisdom and discernment in their roles and they would help others with a Christ like attitude.
Lastly, we pray for one another, that God would unite us in our prayers and give us a spirit of agreement. We ask that He would fill us with His love and empower us to be His witnesses in the world (Acts 1:8). We pray that our prayers would be effective and powerful, bringing healing, hope, and salvation to those around us. We remind one another that it is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we can approach God and that there is no other name by which we can be saved. We encourage everyone to believe in Jesus Christ and make Him the Lord and Savior of their life.
Jesus said:
I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me. (John 14:6 WEB)
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved! (Acts 4:12 WEB)
Let us pray.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up these individuals and organizations. We ask that You would guide them in their work and relationships, giving them wisdom and discernment. We pray that You would bless their endeavors and use them to bring glory to Your name. We rebuke any sin in their lives and pray that You would convict them and draw them closer to You. We ask that You would unite us in our prayers, giving us a spirit of agreement and empowering us to be Your witnesses in the world. We ask this all in the precious name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
