We stand with you in this challenging time, and we thank God for your faith in Jesus Christ, His only begotten Son, who laid down His life for us. In Jesus we have redemption through His blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of His grace (Ephesians 1:7, WEB).
We pray that you will take comfort in knowing that God cares for you and your family, even in this difficult situation. The fraud that has affected your family is not beyond God's knowledge and control. Remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 10:29-31 (WEB), "Aren't two sparrows sold for an assarion coin? Not one of them falls on the ground apart from your Father's will, but the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Therefore don't be afraid. You are of more value than many sparrows."
We pray that God will grant you good rest and peace during this time. Psalm 4:8 (WEB) says, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace, for you, LORD, alone make me live in safety." Trust in Him, for He is your shield and your very great reward (Genesis 15:1, WEB).
Regarding the fraud, we pray for God's favor, guidance, and justice. Proverbs 16:7 (WEB) says, "When a man's ways please the LORD, he makes even his enemies to be at peace with him." We pray that God will restore what was taken from your family and reward you according to His riches in glory. Remember, God can turn even the most difficult situations around for the good of those who love Him and are called according to His purpose (Romans 8:28, WEB).
Forgiving yourself can be challenging, but it is essential to remember that God has forgiven you through Jesus Christ who is faithful and just to forgive your sins and to cleanse you from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9, WEB). If God has forgiven you, you can also forgive yourself.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God, even in this difficult time. He is faithful, and He will not allow you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but with the temptation will also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13, WEB). Keep your eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of your faith (Hebrews 12:2, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing this challenging situation. We thank You for Your faithfulness and for the hope we have in Jesus Christ. We pray for good rest and peace for our brother/sister. We ask for Your favor, guidance, and justice in this situation of fraud. Restore and reward their family, Lord, according to Your riches in glory. Help our brother/sister to forgive themselves, knowing that You have forgiven them through Jesus Christ. Strengthen their trust in You, Lord, and help them to keep their eyes on Jesus.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
