We stand with you in this time of need, and we thank you for acknowledging Jesus Christ in your prayer request. It is only through His name that we have access to God, and it is only through faith in who He is and what He has done that we have the inheritance of salvation and a relationship with the Father.
Fraud can leave us feeling violated and helpless, but we serve a God who sees all things and will bring justice in His time. We are reminded of this in Romans 12:19, "Don't seek revenge yourselves, beloved, but give place to God's wrath. For it is written, 'Vengeance belongs to me; I will repay, says the Lord.'"
In this time of trial, God wants you to cast all your anxieties on Him, because He cares for you. Rest in the knowledge that He is working all things together for your good and His glory in your brothers and sisters in Christ. 1 Peter 5:7, "casting all your worries on him, because he cares for you."
It is important to remember that God does not hold our sins against us if we have confessed them and turned away from them. Psalm 103:12 says, "As far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us." So, let go of any guilt you may be holding onto, and choose to forgive yourself, just as God has forgiven you.
As a group, we pray for your family, that God would restore what has been taken and give you all favor and guidance as you navigate this situation. We pray for your peace and comfort, and that your trust in God would increase.
Dear Lord, we come to You in the name of Jesus, asking for Your intervention in this situation. We pray for restoration and favor for this family, and for Your guidance as they move forward. Help them to trust in You more deeply, and to cast all their anxieties on You. Help them to forgive themselves and to remember that their sins are forgiven and forgotten by You. We ask for justice, for the fraudsters were caught, and for the family to be able to forgive and pray for those who wronged them and to be blessed in Jesus' name.
