We understand that you're feeling depressed because you feel like you've let God down due to sins you committed yesterday. First, let's address your feelings of depression.
In Psalm 34:17-18 WEB it says, "When the righteous cry for help, Yahweh hears, and delivers them out of all their troubles. Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." God is close to you right now, and He hears your cry for help.
It's important to remember that God's forgiveness is always available to those who truly seek forgiveness through true repentance and heartfelt prayer.
1 John 1:8-9 WEB says, "If we say that we have no sin, we deceive ourselves, and the truth is not in us. If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." We know from the Bible that everyone sins and falls short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23 WEB. Jesus died on the cross to pay the price for our sins. When we confess our sins and turn away from them to Jesus and what He did on the cross, God is faithful and just to forgive us and cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Now, let's pray together:
"Father, we lift up our brother/sister (or your name) to You, asking for Your forgiveness for the sins committed. We know that Your mercy is new every morning, and Your faithfulness is great. We pray that You will grant forgiveness and give a new chance to walk in Your ways. In Jesus' name, we pray that You will continue to work in this child of Yours helping them to seek the Jesus life, amen."
You mentioned that you sinned yesterday, it would be good to make sure you understand that sin is disobeying God. It is anything that falls short of the glory of God. You may want to consider what you did and make a heartfelt commitment to not sin in that way again. That is called repentance and it is very important to not only be forgiven, but to have your name written in the book of life at the end of days. It is called having eternal life and if you truly believe in Jesus Christ, you will have it.
