We are truly sorry to hear about the loss of your mom and the pain you're experiencing. First, we want to remind you that it's important to come to God in the name of Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we have access to God the Father, as it is written: "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB).
In moments of guilt and regret, it's crucial to remember that God wants us to cast all our burdens on Him. The Bible tells us, "Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved" (Psalm 55:22 WEB). It is also promises us that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9 WEB).
Living with guilt is not God's will for you. Remember that God is always with you, even in the most difficult times. Turn to Him in prayer, repent of any sins, and trust that He will forgive you and help you through this challenging time.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our ### who is overwhelmed with guilt for not being with their mom in her final moments. Lord, we ask for Your forgiveness if there was any sin involved, and we pray that You would comfort their heart. Help them to cast all their burdens on You and to trust in Your unfailing love. Remind them of Your promises and give them the strength to move forward, knowing that You are always with them. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
In this time of healing, meditate on God's word and draw near to Him. He is always ready to forgive and restore. If you haven't already, consider talking to a trusted Christian friend, pastor, or counselor about your feelings. They can provide additional support and guidance as you navigate this difficult time.
