We join you in thanking God for His goodness and we are certainly encouraged by Ephesians 2:4-7 which says
But God, being rich in mercy, for his great love with which he loved us, even when we were dead through our trespasses, made us alive together with Christ by grace you have been saved, and raised us up with him, and made us to sit with him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, that in the ages to come he might show the exceeding riches of his grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus.
We are thankful that through His love and mercy, He has made us alive in Christ and it is our hope that you and all those you are praying for are experiencing the same rich mercy and grace as we do. Please note that we only have access to the Father through Jesus Christ. It is only by His name that we can be saved. It is of the utmost importance that all of our prayers and petitions be made in the name of Jesus Christ. As the scripture says in John 14:6 Jesus said to him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me."
As you and the others rest tonight, we pray that the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus. May He grant you all godly rest and refreshment for the night is a blessing from Him, as Psalm 127:2 says, "It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep."
For the student, we pray that God will grant them wisdom and understanding as we are reminded of James 1:5 which says, But if any of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of God, who gives to all liberally and without reproach; and it will be given to him.
May God guide them and help them to focus on their studies, and may they have favor with their teachers and classmates. We pray that they will be a light for Christ in their school, that others may see Jesus in them. As First Timothy 4:12 says, Let no man despise your youth; but be an example to those who believe, in word, in your way of life, in love, in spirit, in faith, and in purity.
Father, we ask that this prayer request is presenting their supplications to you in the name of Jesus Christ. If they have not, please give them the grace to do so. We ask this in Jesus' name. Amen
