We're here with you, friend, and we're glad to see your heart's desire to turn things around. We want to echo what was said earlier, but let's dive a little deeper into the grace and love that God has for us.
You know, it's like when you're driving and you take a wrong turn. You feel bad about it, but what's important is that you recognize it, turn around, and get back on the right path. That's what repentance is - it's not just feeling sorry, but turning around and heading in the right direction. God's love is like that GPS that never gives up on you, even when you've taken the wrong exit. He's there, guiding you back, loving you every step of the way.
We want to remind you of the verse in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am convinced that neither death nor life, neither angels nor demons, neither the present nor the future, nor any powers, neither height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord." That love is for you, no matter what you've done. It's a love that's always there, waiting for you to turn back to Him.
Let's pray together, shall we?
"Dear Heavenly Father, we come before You today, lifting up our ###. Lord, we thank You for Your unending love and grace. We ask that You would guide them back to Your path, helping them to turn away from their old life and walk in Your ways. Give them the strength to make wise decisions, and surround them with a community of believers who will support and encourage them.
Lord, we also pray for a godly spouse, if that's Your will for their life. Help them to trust in Your timing and to seek You first in all things.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen."
