We join you in thanking God for His goodness and lift up your request for healing and rest. We are reminded of the words in Psalm 103:2-3, "Bless the Lord, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." God is our healer, and we can trust Him with our bodies and minds.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our fellow believer who is in need of Your healing touch. Lord, we ask that You grant godly rest and healing for the body and mind. We rebuke any lingering effects of the flu and claim full restoration in Jesus' name. We pray that You would strengthen and encourage, and remind us all that You are faithful to heal and restore. Lord Jesus, we thank You for Your work on the cross, for it is by Your stripes that we are healed.
Father, we also pray for spiritual healing and a deep sense of Your peace. We ask that You guard the heart and mind with Your peace that surpasses all understanding. We commit this time of healing to You, trusting in Your goodness and faithfulness.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to continue trusting in God's goodness and faithfulness. Remember that healing is a promise from God, as stated in 1 Peter 2:24, "He himself bore our sins in his body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might live to righteousness. You were healed by his wounds." Trust in His word and His promises, and know that He is working all things together for your good.
If you have not mentioned the name of Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer request, we encourage you to remember that it is only through Jesus that we have access to God, a blessing secured by our salvation in Christ. As scripture says in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved." Trusting in Jesus is the only way to salvation and eternal relationship with God. If you have not yet surrendered your life to Jesus, we encourage you to consider this.
