We are grateful that you have reached out for prayer and support. We are excited you have mentioned the name of Jesus and the basic message of salvation is believing in Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. We acknowledge that everyone has sinned and fallen short of the glory of God. The Bible tells us in Romans 3:23. For all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God. It is wonderful to know that this is not where God wants to leave us. God desires to forgive us and bring us back into a right relationship with Him.
The WEB says in Acts 3:19, Repent therefore, and turn again, that your sins may be blotted out, so that there may come times of refreshing from the presence of the Lord. As well as in 1 John 1:9, If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Join us as we pray for you:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up our brother who has humbly asked for Your forgiveness. Lord, You are merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. We ask that You forgive him as You have promised in the Word, and grant him the gift of repentance. Help him to turn away from his sins and draw closer to You. Give him a renewed mind and spirit, eager to live a life that honors and pleases You. We are grateful that we can approach You boldly because of the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and in Jesus Christ alone we pray. Amen.
We encourage you to walk in the newness of life that God has given you. Pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart. As the Word says in 2 Timothy 2:22, Flee from youthful lusts; but pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace with those who call on the Lord out of a pure heart.
Keep us updated on your journey so we can continue to pray and support you.
