We understand that you are facing difficulties with your employment situation, and we are here to pray and offer biblical encouragement for you. Firstly, we want to remind you that God cares about every aspect of your life, including your work and finances. It is important to include Jesus in your request. As it is only through Jesus that we can boldly approach God. Our salvation is only through Jesus. As it says in Acts 4:12 WEB: "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!"
In regards to your work, always remember to do an honest day's work as if you are working for God directly. 1 Corinthians 10:31 WEB states Whatever you do, do all to the glory of God.
Regarding finances remember that God will not forget your labors of love. One of the many scriptures that confirm this is in Hebrews 6:10 WEB For God is not unrighteous so as to forget your work and the love which you showed toward his name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and still do minister.
Let us pray for you:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up our brother/sister who is facing challenges with their employment. We pray that you would intervene in this situation and provide a stable, regular job with fair compensation. We ask that you would touch the hearts of the employers and bring about a resolution that is just and fair.
Lord, we also pray for your provision and sustenance during this time of financial need. May you supply every need according to your riches in glory. Help our brother/sister to trust in you and rest in your promises.
We do not know the reasons for the troubles you face, but we do know that you are the God of mercy and grace. We pray for this person's faith to be strengthened in this trial, knowing that you work all things together for good for those who love you and are called according to your purpose.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Be encouraged by the words of Philippians 4:19 WEB: "My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus." Trust in God's provision and timing, and continue to seek Him in all your ways.
Finally we offer a rebuke. We are to be working and making an effort to support ourselves and not willingly being idle or accepting of a welfare check for laziness. 2 Thessalonians 3:10 WEB: For even when we were with you, we commanded you this: If anyone is not willing to work, neither let him eat.
