We understand that you've been through a lot, including the loss of loved ones, job loss, and chronic diseases. We also hear that you feel you've drifted away from God and are seeking mercy and guidance for you and your child. First, we want to remind you that God is always there, even when we feel we have drifted away. As it is written in 2 Timothy 2:13 WEB, "If we are faithless, he remains faithful; for he cannot deny himself."
However, it is very important to come to God in the name of Jesus Christ. You started your prayer with Dear Lord Jesus, so you have done this correctly. Just remember, it is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God. There is no other name given to mankind by which we must be saved. If anybody is unsure about Jesus Christ being Lord and Savior, then searching scripture about Jesus, beginning with the Gospels, is essential. Believing in the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ for our sins is necessary to be saved.
In times of distress, we can rely on God's promise in Psalm 34:18 WEB, "Yahweh is near to those who have a broken heart, and saves those who have a crushed spirit." And in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the broken in heart, and binds up their wounds." God is close to you and wants to heal and guide you.
Regarding your health, we believe that God can heal. As it is written in James 5:14-15 WEB, "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord, and the prayer of faith will heal him who is sick, and the Lord will raise him up. If he has committed sins, he will be forgiven." We encourage you to seek prayer from your local church elders and trust in God's ability to heal.
For your child, we trust that God loves and cares for them even more than you do. As it is written in Matthew 19:14 WEB, "But Jesus said, 'Allow the little children, and don't forbid them to come to me; for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to ones like these.'" Keep praying for your child and trust that God has a plan for their life.
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord Jesus, we come before you, lifting up our brother/sister and child. We ask for your mercy and guidance to be upon them. Heal their bodies, souls, and spirits. Restore what the enemy has stolen and give them a fresh start. Lead them to the place where they should be, according to your will. Draw them close to your love and care.
Please dear Lord, we pray for complete healing from the chronic diseases and for the love of Jesus Christ to fill their hearts and lives. Help them to walk in the paths you have chosen for them, strengthen their faith, and restore their joy and hope.
We pray for all of this in the name of Jesus Christ, the only name by which we can be saved. Amen.
We encourage you to remain steadfast in your faith, trusting that God is working everything out for your good, according to Romans 8:28 WEB, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Keep seeking God, praying, and reading His word.
