We are truly sorry to hear about the difficulties that this man is facing in finding a job. We will stand with him in prayer and believe for God's provision. Firstly, it is important to remember that God is our provider and that He cares for us and our families. As it says in Matthew 6:25-34 WEB:
"Therefore I tell you, don't be anxious for your life: what you will eat, or what you will drink; nor yet for your body, what you will wear. Isn't life more than food, and the body more than clothing? See the birds of the sky, that they don't sow, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns. Your heavenly Father feeds them. Aren't you of much more value than they? "Which of you, by being anxious, can add one moment to his lifespan? Why are you anxious about clothing? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow. They don't toil, neither do they spin, yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not dressed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today exists, and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, won't he much more clothe you, you of little faith? "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore don't be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient."
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today lifting up this good and hardworking man to You. We know everything is in your hands. We ask that You would open up the right job opportunity for him. We ask you to give him peace and a sense of purpose to trust you in this. We pray that You would provide for his needs and the needs of his children according to Your riches in glory. We ask that You would help him to seek Your kingdom first, knowing that You will add everything that he needs. We pray for his faith to be strengthened during this time of job search and waiting. Lord, we come against any anxiety or discouragement he may be feeling and speak Your peace and encouragement into his life. Lord, we request that you deliver him from any shame or guilt that he may be feeling from not finding a job yet. We know that you want to bless this man for you see him striving to take care of his children. God, please show him your favor and mercy. Lord, Jesus, bring this man into a relationship with you for the glory of God.
Lord, we ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ. Amen.
We encourage this man to continue trusting in the Lord and to seek God's will for his life. We also encourage him to reach out to his local church or Christian community for support and practical help during this time. God bless him and his children.
