We join you in thanking God for His goodness and lift up your prayer requests together.
Firstly, we are thankful that you acknowledge the goodness of God and prayed in Jesus' Name. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God and can pray to Him. Let us remember that Jesus said "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me." John 14:6 (WEB). There is no other name by which we can be saved except the name of Jesus.
We pray for the individuals you mentioned, that God would reveal Himself to them and draw them to a saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. As it is written in 1 Timothy 2:3-4 (WEB), "This is good and pleasing in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth."
We lift up your need for godly rest and healing. In Psalm 103:2-3 (WEB) we read, "Bless Yahweh, my soul, and do not forget all his benefits; who forgives all your sins; who heals all your diseases." We trust that the Lord will heal you from your post-flu issues and grant you the rest you need. Remember, too, the promise of Matthew 11:28-30 (WEB), "Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart; and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light."
Regarding your future work endeavors, we pray for God's wisdom to guide you. Colossians 3:23-24 (WEB) reminds us, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord, and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You serve the Lord Christ." Trust that God has a plan for your life and will direct your steps as you seek Him.
Together, let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up these requests. Reveal Yourself to those who do not know You, Lord, and draw them to a saving faith in Jesus. Heal and restore our dear friend, granting them the rest they need. Guide them with Your wisdom in their future work endeavors. In all things, may Your will be done, and may You receive all the glory. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
