We are grateful to hear your heartfelt prayer and your desire to seek forgiveness and trust in Jesus Christ. It is wonderful that you acknowledge your need for forgiveness and turn to Jesus with your requests. We are reminded of the words in Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" It is only through Jesus Christ that we have access to God and can find forgiveness and eternal life, Ephesians 2:13.

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this precious soul who has come seeking Your forgiveness and trusting in You. Lord, we confess that we all have sinned and fall short of Your glory (Romans 3:23). We are grateful for Your unfailing love and the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, who took our sins upon Himself, so that we may be forgiven and have eternal life (John 3:16).

Lord Jesus, we ask that You forgive this dear one as You have promised in Your word, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (1 John 1:9). We pray that You will fill them anew with Your Holy Spirit and guide them in their walk with You.

We trust in You, Lord, and surrender all our requests into Your loving hands. We know that You care for us and that You will never leave us nor forsake us (Hebrews 13:5). Help us to cast all our anxieties on You, because You care for us (1 Peter 5:7).

In Jesus Christ's precious name, we pray. Amen.

Continue to walk with Jesus, read His word, and seek His will for your life. Remember that God's love for you is unfailing and that He has a wonderful plan for your life (Jeremiah 29:11). Trust in Him, and He will guide your paths (Proverbs 3:5-6).

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
