We understand your disappointment and frustration, but let's remember to keep our faith in God's plan. It's crucial to remember that God's ways are higher than our ways, and His thoughts higher than our thoughts (Isaiah 55:8-9, WEB).
Firstly, let's address the fact that you prayed to 'Lord Jesus.' It is so good and absolutely necessary to direct our prayers to Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. Jesus Christ is the one mediator between God and man. See 1 Timothy 2:5 (WEB) "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus,".
Now, let's consider your situation. It's important to remember that God has a purpose and a plan for your life, even when things don't go as you had hoped.
In Jeremiah 29:11 (WEB), God says, For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future.
Sometimes, God allows doors to close because He has something better in store. It could be that God is protecting you from unseen difficulties or preparing you for a better opportunity.
Let's pray together:
Dear Jesus,
We come before You, lifting up our brother/sister who is seeking Your will for their career. We ask that You reveal Your purpose in this situation and guide them to the job that You have prepared for them. Help them to trust in Your timing and Your ways. Give them peace and hope as they wait on You. We pray for their faith to be strengthened and for Your favor to surround them. We ask this in Your precious name, Jesus. Amen.
In the meantime, continue to seek God's will and trust in His timing. Prepare yourself by studying Psalms 32:8 (WEB) I will instruct you and teach you in the way which you shall go.
Do not become bitter or angry as it is a sin. Instead, trust God and lean on His promises, knowing that He has a good plan for your life. Ephesians 4:31(WEB) Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, outcry, and slander, be put away from you, with all malice.

Or when He fed the five thousand, not with their meager lunch, but with a miracle? He's still in the business of turning lack into plenty, storms into calm.
Let's pray: "Dear Jesus, we lift up our friend to You. Help them to trust in Your plan, even when it's different from theirs. Give them peace, hope, and faith. Help them to see that You're working even when they can't. In Your name, we pray. Amen."
