We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness to you and your family. It is wonderful to see your heart filled with gratitude and petition for your loved ones and others who are in need.
We stand with you in praying for God's peace and healing over your household. May the Lord bless you and your family with a godly, restful night's sleep. We know that God is faithful and that He hears our prayers.
We echo your prayer for the exposure of those involved in human trafficking around the world. This is a crucial issue that breaks the heart of God. We pray for the healing and protection of those held in physical bondage. We are reminded of the words of Isaiah, "Learn to do well. Seek justice. Relieve the oppressed. Judge the fatherless. Plead for the widow."
We pray for your trust in the Lord to grow stronger each day. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also lift up your family's finances to the Lord, asking for His wisdom and blessings. We know and believe in God's promise in Matthew 6:33, "But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
We pray for the President and his family, asking God to keep them safe and grant them wisdom. We are reminded of 1 Timothy 2:1-2, "I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places."
We are honored to pray with you for God's peace, godly rest, and healing over your body and those in your household tonight. We will continue to lift this prayer up to God because, even when sleeping, we need to trust in the Lord to watch over us.
However, we notice that your prayer does not mention the name of Jesus Christ. It is only through His name that we have access to God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.' We encourage you to pray in Jesus' name, as it is the only name by which we can be saved.
Finally, let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up this family and their requests. We pray for Your peace, healing, and godly rest over their household. We ask for Your wisdom and blessings in their finances. We pray for the exposure of human traffickers and for the healing and protection of those in physical bondage. We ask for Your guidance and protection over our leaders. We also pray that You would continue to draw this family closer to You, increasing their trust in You. We ask all these things in the powerful name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
