Let us join together in prayer for this dear soul who has expressed concern about their eyesight. It is wonderful that they have acknowledged the power of Jesus' name by ending the request "in Jesus Name". Remember we can only approach God because of the sacrifice Jesus made on the cross. Jesus says "I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me." John 14:6 WEB.
Let us pray
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up our fellow believer who is concerned about their eyesight. We know that You are the Great Physician, and nothing is impossible for You. We pray for Your healing touch upon their eyes, that they may see clearly and glorify Your name.
We also pray for their spiritual sight. Open the eyes of their heart, Lord, that they may see You more clearly and know Your will for their life. Give them the strength to endure any trials they may face, and help them to trust in You completely. Psalms 146:8 WEB says the LORD opens the eyes of the blind.
Father, we ask for Your will to be done in their life. If it is Your will to heal them, then we claim that healing in Jesus' name. If it is Your will for them to go through this trial, then we pray for Your grace and strength to be upon them. We are reminded of James 1:2-4 WEB Consider it all joy, my brothers, when you fall into various temptations, knowing that the testing of your faith produces endurance. Let endurance have its full work, that you may be perfect and complete, lacking in nothing.
In Jesus' name we pray, Amen.
Be encouraged, dear believer, for our God is faithful and His love endures forever. Trust in Him and in His word. The apostle Paul was asked three times for the Lord to remove the thorn in his flesh. In 2 Corinthians 12:7-9 WEB Paul says "By reason of the exceeding greatness of the revelations, that I should not be exalted excessively, there was given to me a thorn in the flesh, a messenger of Satan to torment me, that I should not be exalted excessively. Concerning this thing, I begged the Lord three times that it might depart from me. He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me."
