We join with you in this powerful and compassionate prayer, echoing the words of Matthew 6:10, "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." It is beautiful to see your heart's desire for God's will to be done in the lives of all those we pray for, including our families, friends, and acquaintances.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, seeking Your perfect will for our lives and the lives of those around us. We ask that Your kingdom come and Your will be done in each of our families, friends, and acquaintances, just as it is in heaven.
Lord, we pray for Your guidance and wisdom in every decision we make. Help us to align our desires with Yours and to walk in Your ways. We ask that You would open our eyes to see the needs of those around us and to be Your hands and feet, extending Your love and compassion to a hurting world.
We pray for our loved ones, that they would come to know You personally and intimately. For those who do not yet know You, we ask that You would draw them to Yourself and give them a heart of flesh to replace their heart of stone. We claim the promise of Ezekiel 36:26, "A new heart will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you a heart of flesh."
We also pray for our friends and acquaintances, that You would bless them and guide them in their lives. We ask that You would use us to be a light in their lives, pointing them to You.
In all things, Lord, we ask that Your will be done. We trust in Your goodness and Your love for us, knowing that Your plans for us are always for our good and Your glory.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us continue to stand in the gap for our loved ones, friends, and acquaintances, trusting that God hears our prayers and is faithful to answer according to His perfect will. Be encouraged by the words of 1 John 5:14-15, "This is the confidence which we have before him, that, if we ask anything according to his will, he listens to us. And if we know that he listens to us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions which we have asked of him." We are all to be praying for God's will to be done in our lives as the Lord's prayer tells us. The desire for God's will to align with yours is not correct. We are to align with God's will and not our own will. We are to live according to God's word and His will.
