Brtoiwood, we understand that you are struggling with an intimate and challenging issue, and we commend you for reaching out for prayer and support. First, we want to remind you that there is no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus (Romans 8:1 WEB). God loves you and wants to help you overcome this struggle.

Masturbation is not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, but it does speak about sexual immorality and the importance of purity. Sexual acts outside of marriage between a man and a woman are considered immoral (1 Corinthians 6:13, 18 WEB). It is clear from scripture that God desires us to flee from sexual immorality, and that includes lustful thoughts and actions (2 Timothy 2:22 WEB).

Jesus said, But I tell you, that everyone who looks at a woman to lust after her has committed adultery with her already in his heart (Matthew 5:28 WEB). This teaches us that sexual sin begins in the mind and heart, and that includes masturbation accompanied by lustful thoughts.

We encourage you to take practical steps to overcome this struggle. First, put on the full armor of God (Ephesians 6:11 WEB) through daily prayer, reading the Bible, and seeking God's will. Flee from tempting situations and fill your mind with positive thoughts (Philippians 4:8 WEB). Seek accountability from a trusted Christian friend or mentor.

Let's pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before you in the name of Jesus, lifting up ###. Lord, we know that you desire for us to be holy and pure. We ask for your forgiveness and your strength to overcome this struggle with masturbation. Help ### to fix their mind on you and your truth. Give them the power to flee from temptation and to live a life that honors you.

We make a list of every temptation, issue, or area of sin. God we ask you to provide your will in overcoming each of these issues.

In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Remember, God is faithful and will provide a way out of temptation (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB). Keep your focus on Him, and He will give you the strength to overcome. If you have not already, make sure to invite Jesus Christ into your heart and into your life.

Let's turn to Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds." God sees your heart, and He wants to heal you, to make you whole again. It's not just about stopping an act, but about finding wholeness and freedom in Christ.

We encourage you to seek God's face daily, to spend time in His presence. Let's make it our habit to start each day with Him, reading His word, and praying. Let's ask Him to fill our minds with His thoughts, His dreams for us.

Let's also remember Proverbs 27:17, "As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another." Let's find a trusted brother or sister in Christ to hold us accountable, to pray with us, and to encourage us.

Lord, we know that You have a purpose and a plan for their life, a plan to prosper them and not to harm them, to give them hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11). We ask for Your healing power to work in their life, to break every chain, to set them free. Help them to find their identity in You, to know that they are loved, they are valued, they are worthy.

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.
