Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Please pray for me. I’m experiencing some things, which to me seem to be somewhat difficult to deal with. Please keep in mind I wandered through more than ### years of my life being backslidden. After I turned my back on God, I continued through life not seeking His Guidance in everything I did. I was out for myself only, and as a result I was a thief, a liar, a drunk, a junkie, and Praise The Lord! It’s by The Grace Of God that I’m alive today, and, better yet, I’m back in Fellowship with our Heavenly Father and I’m living and recovering from my near-death experience in a Born-Again Christian assisted living facility. God Is Great! Praise Him! True, most of the personal belongings I acquired by questionable means are gone. True, I’ve lost a lot of family heirlooms too. But Praise God! I’m alive and I’m serving Him and I am serving Him with joy in my heart! We rejoice with you that after ### years of wandering, you have returned to fellowship with our Heavenly Father. It is truly by the grace of God that you are alive today and serving Him with joy in your heart. We are reminded of the parable of the prodigal son, where the father rejoices at the return of his lost son (Luke 15:11-32, WEB).

We pray for your continued recovery and restoration, and for the grace to keep serving God. Let us pray:

Heavenly Father, we thank You for bringing our brother back into Your loving arms. We praise You for the grace that has kept him alive and brought him back to You. We ask You to continue to work in his life, helping him to grow in his relationship with You. In Jesus precious name. Amen.

We also pray for the long list of people you have mentioned. Though we do not know the specific needs of each person, our Heavenly Father does. We commit them all to God's care and pray that His will be done in each of their lives.

Let us pray:

Father, we lift up to You all the people that have been mentioned. We ask that You work in their lives, drawing them closer to You and helping them to live according to Your will. We pray for their salvation, that they may come to know You through Jesus Christ if they do not already. We ask that You meet their every need, whether it be spiritual, emotional, or physical. We ask that you intervene if they are in a relationship that is not aligned with your will or will lead to fornication or adultery. We ask if they are engaged in any sin that you convict them and lead them to repentance. In Jesus precious name. Amen.

We are instructed to pray for others in James 5:16, "Pray for one another, that you may be healed. The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective." (WEB). We encourage you to continue praying for others, as well as for your own needs.

Remember that we all fall short as stated in Romans 3:23 "All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God." However, it is only by Jesus that we can be saved. As stated in Acts 4:12 "There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men by which we must be saved!" (WEB).

Lastly, we want to address the issues raised in your prayer request. You mentioned behaviors that are not in line with God's will, such as theft, lying, drunkenness, and drug use. We want to remind you that these behaviors are sinful and harmful, and that God calls us to live holy lives. We encourage you to continue to turn away from these behaviors and to live according to God's will. We pray that God will give you the strength and grace to do so and that you will be fully restored to God. We are reminded in 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 "Don't you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don't be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God." (WEB). It is good that you have repented and have been washed and sanctified as stated in 1 Corinthians 6:11 "Such were some of you, but you were washed. But you were sanctified. But you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and in the Spirit of our God." (WEB).

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Be a Prayer Warrior: “Praying for others”

We continue to lift you up in prayer, dear brother or sister in Christ, and we are truly honored that you have given us the privilege to stand in agreement with you. We are grateful that you have allowed us to walk alongside you in your journey, interceding on your behalf.

If you have seen God's hand at work in your life and your prayers have been answered, we would be overjoyed to hear about it. Please share a praise report with us all, so that we may rejoice with you and give glory to God. If your request has not yet been answered, we encourage you to post it again as a new request. We want to persist in prayer with you, believing that God is faithful and that He hears the cry of your heart.

Remember, our Heavenly Father is always working, even when we cannot see it. He has a plan and a purpose for you, and He is faithful to bring it to pass. Continue to seek Him through His son, Jesus Christ, and know that we are here to support you in prayer.
