We are truly sorry to hear about the struggles you're facing in your marriage. God's design for marriage is one of peace and mutual respect, as outlined in Ephesians 5:22-33 WEB:
"Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, and Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it; that he might sanctify it, having cleansed it by the washing of water with the word, that he might present the assembly to himself gloriously, not having spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. Even so ought husbands also to love their own wives as their own bodies. He who loves his own wife loves himself. For no man ever hated his own flesh; but nourishes and cherishes it, even as the Lord also does the assembly; because we are members of his body, of his flesh and bones. 'For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.' This mystery is great, but I speak concerning Christ and of the assembly. Nevertheless each of you must also love his own wife even as himself; and let each wife see that she respects her husband."
Let's pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You today to lift up ### and his marriage. We pray that You would bring peace and understanding to their home. We ask that You would soften his wife's heart and help her to see the importance of mutual respect and support in their marriage. We also pray for ###, that You would give him the wisdom and patience to lead his home in love and kindness, following the example of Christ.
Lord, we know that marriage is a sacred institution, designed to reflect the love that Christ has for His church. We pray that ### and his wife would strive to honor that design, and that their home would be filled with the love, joy, and peace that only You can provide.
We rebuke the enemy for the hatred, strife, and bitterness that may be the cause of this situation. For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.
Finally, we pray for a saving faith and relationship for both of them with your son Jesus Christ. It is in His name that we have access to God, for there is no other name given by which we must be saved.
We ask all these things in Jesus' name. Amen.
###, we encourage you to continue to pray for your wife and your marriage. Remember the words of 1 Peter 3:7 WEB:
Likewise, you husbands, dwell with your wives according to knowledge, giving honor to the woman, as to the weaker vessel, as being also joint heirs of the grace of life; that your prayers may not be hindered.
Stand firm in your faith and trust that God is at work in your situation. Do not be afraid to discuss and mention the name of Jesus Christ to her and in all your prayers. Do not let anyone persuade you otherwise.
