We join you in thanking the Lord for His goodness to you and your family. It is wonderful to see your faith in God's ability to provide peace, healing, and rest. We stand with you in prayer for these things. But we do not see the name of Jesus mentioned in your prayer request. It is only by the name of Jesus Christ that we have access to God. As the Bible states, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1st Timothy 2:5, WEB). And being found in human form, he humbled himself, becoming obedient to death, yes, the death of the cross. Therefore God also highly exalted him, and gave to him the name which is above every name; that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those in heaven, those on earth, and those under the earth, and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. (Philippians 2:8-11, WEB). We rebuke you in missing the name of Jesus Christ. In future requests please mention Jesus by name.
We agree with you in praying for the exposure of those involved in human trafficking, and for the healing and protection of those held in bondage. This is a godly concern and we commend you for including it in your prayers. Remember the words of the Lord, For I was hungry and you gave me food; I was thirsty and you gave me drink; I was a stranger and you took me in; naked and you clothed me; I was sick and you visited me; I was in prison and you came to me. Then the righteous will answer him, saying, Lord, when did we see you hungry, and feed you; or thirsty, and give you a drink? When did we see you as a stranger, and take you in; or naked, and clothe you? When did we see you sick, or in prison, and come to you? The King will answer them, Most certainly I tell you, because you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me. (Matthew 25:35-40, WEB).
We also intercede with you for growth in your trust in the Lord, and for wisdom and blessings in your family's finances. It is important to remember that God cares for us and knows our needs. Therefore do not be anxious, saying, What will we eat? What will we drink? or, With what will we be clothed? For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first Gods Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well. Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, for tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day's own evil is sufficient. (Matthew 6:31-34, WEB).
Regarding your prayer for President Trump, we encourage you to pray for all leaders and those in authority, regardless of political affiliation. This aligns with the scriptural command: I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior; who desires all people to be saved and come to full knowledge of the truth. (1st Timothy 2:1-4, WEB).
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, thanking You for Your goodness and mercy over this household. We pray for Your peace to reign in this home, and for physical healing and godly rest for the whole family. Lord, expose those involved in human trafficking around the world, and bring healing and protection to those held captive. Help us to grow in our trust in You, and grant wisdom and blessings in this family's finances. We also lift up all leaders, including President Trump, asking for Your protection and wisdom upon them. We rebuke any illnesses attacking this household and claim the healing.
Lord Jesus Christ come into the hearts and lives of this family and save them if they are not already saved. Raise up a Christian Believer spouse for anyone that is not married.
In the first place, you shall not worry and be anxious about your life, as to what you shall eat, nor about your body, as to what you shall put on. Is not the natural life more than food, and the body more than clothes? Look at the birds of the air; they neither sow nor reap nor gather into barns, and yet your heavenly Father keeps feeding them. Are you not worth much more than they? And which of you by worrying can add one hour to the length of his life or to the height of his stature? And why should you be anxious about clothes? Notice how the lilies of the field grow. They do not toil or reap or gather into barns, yet I tell you, even Solomon in all his magnificence (splendor and royal luxury) was not arrayed like one of these. But if God so clothes the grass of the field, which today is alive and green and tomorrow is thrown [as refuse] into the furnace, how much more will He clothe you, O you of little faith? Therefore do not worry and be anxious, saying, What are we going to have to eat? or, What are we going to have to drink? or, What are we going to have to wear? For the Gentiles wish for and crave and diligently seek all these things, and your heavenly Father knows well that you need them all. But seek first of all His kingdom and His righteousness, and then all these things taken together will be given you besides. So do not worry or be anxious about tomorrow, for tomorrow will have worries and anxieties of its own. Sufficient for each day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:25-34, WEB).
We ask this in Jesus' name, Amen.
