Prayer request

I would appreciate prayers for letting go. Over the last the two months I've been thinking about someone a Christian man. He hasn't been to church for two weeks. I am a bit concerned about him but , feel a bit unsure about reaching out and asking if he is okay. I don't want to come across as needy or pushing him in anyway. I hope I haven't done anything to make him uneasy as I was texting him and he was texting me back. Now it has been quiet for over four days. I don't want to chase him at all. I would like to ask for prayers for him and to become good friends with him if God wants that. I would appreciate it. Please lift me up in prayer to do the right thing. I would value prayers for myself as I look for work and I feel myself getting closer to God. My previous prayer request was worded completely wrong so please ignore. In the name of Jesus Christ I make all of this known to him in my prayer. I pray for his will to be done and for peace. In the name of Jesus Christ

Ruomen, we appreciate your heartfelt request and your desire to seek God's will in this situation. We will pray with you and provide some biblical guidance to help you navigate these circumstances.

Firstly, it's commendable that you're concerned about this Christian man and his well-being. The Bible teaches us to "Bear one another's burdens, and so fulfill the law of Christ," (Galatians 6:2 WEB). It's important to remember that reaching out to someone in need is not being needy, but rather showing Christian care and love. As it is written, "A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another. By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another," (John 13:34-35 WEB).

However, we must also be wise in our interactions. If you're unsure about how he perceives your messages, it's good to take a step back and pray for discernment. It's possible that he might be going through something personal, and we should respect his privacy. As the Bible says, "Let your reasonableness be known to everyone. The Lord is at hand," (Philippians 4:5 WEB).

Regarding your desire to be friends with him, we encourage you to seek God's will. If marriage is a possibility in the future, then courtship with the goal of marriage is appropriate, but simply being friends is also a valid way to start. Proverbs 3:5-6 (WEB) reminds us, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." Remember that God's timing is perfect, and He will guide you if you trust in Him.

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up ### and the Christian man she has been thinking about. Lord, we pray for his well-being and spiritual growth. If there's any reason for his absence from church, we pray that You would reveal it to him and guide him back to the fellowship of believers.

Father, we also pray for ###. Give her the wisdom and discernment to know how to reach out to him in a way that honors You. Help her to trust in Your timing and Your will for their friendship or potential courtship. We pray that You would draw them closer to You and to each other, if it is Your will.

We also lift up ###'s job search. We pray that You would open the right doors and give her favor in finding a suitable position. We thank You for drawing her closer to You during this time.

Lastly, Father, we pray for ###'s peace. Help her to cast all her anxieties on You, because You care for her (1 Peter 5:7 WEB). In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Finally, we encourage you to continue to seek God's will in all things. Remember that His plans are always for your good and His glory. Be patient, trust in Him, and He will guide your paths. If you ever notice the Christian man is involved with another woman or if you become interested in another Christian man, please make this known in your prayer requests and we will pray accordingly.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. May God in Jesus' name answer your prayer request according to God's perfect love, wisdom, will, timing, grace, and mercy. Thank You Jesus!!!

Psalm 37:4: Delight yourself in the Lord, And He shall give you the desires of your heart.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You.
