Let us come together in prayer for ###, seeking God's will and intervention in his life. ### is working extra hard to meet his investment portfolio increase so he can retire. Let us pray for God to help ### find his strength and comfort in the Lord. God alone can open doors and provide opportunities for ### to achieve his goals. We should pray for a peace that surpasses all understanding.

It is important for ### to be pure, noble, just, lovely, virtuous, and praiseworthy. We should pray for work is profitable, but we should be very careful about our attitude towards retirement. We are told in the Bible to occupy ourselves in a profitable business until Christ comes. In Luke 19:13, "Occupy till I come." Let us pray for ### to be busy doing God's work until the end.

The Bible tells us, "If anyone is not willing to work, let him not eat. We hear that some among you walk in idleness, not busy at work, but busybodies. Now such persons we command and encourage in the Lord Jesus Christ to do their work quietly and to earn their own living" 2 Thessalonians. So the Bible is saying that being able to provide for ourselves and save is a good thing. It is also saying that we should keep busy at work.

We have to be careful that we do not get caught up in the deceitfulness of riches and worry about retirement more than we are obeying God's word. Be anxious for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. God has told us to be anxious for nothing. Trust God and do not have anxiety about retirement.

So let us pray for God to help ### work hard, but also to put his trust completely in God. Let us pray for ### to be anxious for nothing. Let us pray for ### to work hard and earn his own living while also doing God's work to keep busy until Christ returns.

Father, in the name of Jesus, we bring ###'s situation before you. We ask that you would provide him with the strength to accomplish his work. We ask that you would give him wisdom and opportunities to meet his goals. We ask for the peace that surpasses all understanding. We ask that he will trust you completely. We ask that he will be busy about doing your work until Christ returns. In Jesus name, we pray. Amen.

Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Prayer Focus: God, Thank You for loving me. Thank You for loving me, Jesus. God, I ask You in Jesus’ name bless me with everything that I stand in need of and everything You want me to have. Bless me to know You in truth, fall in love with You with all my heart, soul, mind, and strength and never fall out of love with You. Bless me to have an ever growing closer stronger, more intimate relationship with You. Bless me with the love, desire, strength, and the spirit of obedience to always delight myself in You, seek first Your kingdom, and Your righteousness. Help and strengthen me God to always respect and obey You. Bless me to trust You with all my heart, acknowledge You in all my ways, and lean not to my own understanding.

God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. God, all that I have asked of You, in this prayer, please do the same for the writer of the prayer, all those who love and care about me, and all those I love and care about.
