[MSC Prayers]

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ. Please continue to hold me up in prayer. I'm going through some, what I feel are tough times right now. I was backslidden for ### years and, by the Grace of God I'm alive and back in Fellowship with Him now. Praise The Lord! Let's just say I nearly died almost a year and a half ago and God chose to keep me alive and draw me back into Fellowship with Him. As a result, I have the Gift of Eternal Life, and my only so-called 'complaint' is my health conditions. Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining, it's just not so simple (at times) to accept the fact my mind doesn't work like it did while I was younger, and physically, I very weak and have noticeable balance and endurance issues. My social skills have diminished considerably too. I've lost (or misplaced) most of my personal items and am living on a very limited fixed income now. Praise God! Thank You Father! It's not really all that bad, when you consider what could have happened. We rejoice with you that after ### years of backsliding, you have been drawn back into fellowship with God. It is a testament to God's unfailing love and grace that He has chosen to keep you alive and grant you the gift of eternal life. We are here to hold you up in prayer and encourage you in your journey.
We commend you for including the name of Jesus in your prayer.

In your trial, we are reminded of Paul's words in 2 Corinthians 12:9-10 WEB: "He has said to me, 'My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.' Most gladly therefore I will rather glory in my weaknesses, that the power of Christ may rest on me. Therefore I take pleasure in weaknesses, in injuries, in necessities, in persecutions, in distresses, for Christ's sake. For when I am weak, then am I strong."

Let us pray together:

Dear Heavenly Father,

We come before You, lifting up our brother in Christ who has returned to You after many years. We thank You for Your grace and mercy that has sustained him and drawn him back into fellowship with You.

Father, we pray for his health conditions. We ask that You grant him the strength and endurance he needs to face each day. Help him to accept the changes in his mind and body, and give him the grace to rely on You for his every need. We also pray for his social skills and for the restoration of his personal items.

We lift up ### and all the names mentioned, as well as their family members and loved ones. We pray for their financial and physical health, that You would meet their needs according to Your riches in glory.

We ask all of this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who has redeemed us and made us worthy to come before Your throne. It is in His name that we have access to You, and it is by His stripes that we are healed.
Amen.

In light of your financial struggles, remember that God is our provider. In Matthew 6:25-34 WEB, Jesus teaches us not to worry about what we will eat, drink, or wear, but to seek first God's kingdom and His righteousness. Trust that God knows your needs and will provide for them as you seek Him first.

Be encouraged by the words of Romans 8:28 WEB: "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose." Trust that God is working all things together for your good and His glory.

Lastly, we urge you to continue in prayer and fellowship with other believers. In James 5:16 WEB, we are told to "confess your offenses to one another, and pray for one another, that you may be healed. The effective, earnest prayer of a righteous man is powerfully effective."

Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

We continue to feel honored that you have given us the privilege to pray on your behalf, David. It is a blessing to stand in agreement with you in prayer, especially knowing that God's grace has brought you back into fellowship with Him after so many years. We are thankful that He has given you the gift of eternal life and has preserved you through your health challenges.

If you have seen improvements in your health or financial situation, we would love for you to share a praise report with us all. It encourages our faith and reminds us of God's goodness.
