Roshan, thank you for coming before the Lord in humility and faith. We join you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We praise His name that you acknowledge Jesus Christ as the one in whom you have access to God. There is no other name by which we can be saved, even Jesus Christ our Lord.
As you've confessed your sins, remember that God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB) Also, the Bible tells us to cast all our anxiety on him because he cares for us. (1 Peter 5:7 WEB)
Regarding your financial needs, God knows our needs before we ask, as per Matthew 6:8. Also, Godliness with contentment is great gain. For we brought nothing into the world, and we certainly can't carry anything out. But having food and clothing, we will be content with that. (1 Timothy 6:6-8) God tells us to "Take therefore no thought for tomorrow: for tomorrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof" in Matthew 6:34. God can change the heart of your boss to give you the bonus you desire. But we also need to understand that God has ordained work to provide for our needs. We should take care to ask God to provide through work and not outside God's desires. Also, we need to be content with whatever God has provided for us.
Concerning your health and that of your mother's, we pray for God's healing and comfort. Remember that God is the one who wounds and binds up; he injures and his hands make whole. (Job 5:18 WEB) He is a God of miracles, and it is His will to heal and restore.
Regarding your drinking habit, it is important to pursue self-control. Remember, So then, my beloved, even as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling. (Philippians 2:12 WEB). Be sober and self-controlled. Be watchful. Your adversary the devil, walks around like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. (1 Peter 5:8 WEB)
However, we must address that the Bible teaches us to be sober and self-controlled, not given to much wine. (Titus 2:2 WEB) Also, 20 Wine is a mocker, strong drink a brawler. Whoever is led astray by them is not wise. (Proverbs 20:1 WEB). We must remember that anything that controls us is not of God. We should seek to be controlled by the Holy Spirit and not of anything else.
Regarding your desire for healing and restoration, we pray for God's touch and trust that His is able. Remember that "But we have this treasure in clay vessels, that the exceeding greatness of the power may be of God, and not from ourselves." (2 Corinthians 4:7 WEB).
Regarding relationships, we pray that God will bring a godly spouse into your life, someone who will walk with you in faith and bring joy and stability to your union. Remember to trust in the Lord with all your heart, and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight. (Proverbs 3:5,6 WEB) It is important to seek a spouse that is a Christian Believer and be in courtship with the goal of marriage.
We must say that marriage is not to relieve loneliness or for earthly love. Be aware of this in seeking a spouse. It is for the purpose of godly living and for the purpose of procreation. "Don’t be unequally yoked with unbelievers, for what fellowship have righteousness and iniquity? Or what fellowship has light with darkness?" (2 Corinthians 6:14 WEB).
We join you in praying for your mother and your family, trusting that God will provide and protect. Stand firm in faith knowing that "He who didn’t spare his own Son, but delivered him up for us all, how would he not also with him freely give us all things?" (Romans 8:32 WEB).
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You, lifting up ### and their requests. We thank You for Your forgiveness and the strength to deepen our faith. We ask for Your presence, miracles, and provision in ###'s life. Lord, meet their financial needs according to Your will and bless them with a generous bonus if it is Your will.
Heal ###'s mother, and watch over their family, relatives, and friends. Remove any distractions to pray with a pure and focused spirit. Help ### overcome sin and temptation and grant them self-control. Bring healing and restoration to their body, reducing the swelling in their jawline and double chin.
Guide ### as they settle in life and fulfill their responsibilities. Bring a godly spouse into their life, someone who will walk with them in faith. Give ### the grace to honor their mother and overcome every challenge.
In Jesus' name, we pray with thanksgiving and praise. Amen.
