We are delighted to join you in prayer and seek God's will for your health and fitness. We encourage you to remember that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit, and it is important to strive for physical fitness and good health.
The scriptures tell us our bodies are a temple but not our own. We should glorify God in our bodies.
Therefore glorify God in your body, and in your spirit, which are God’s. (1 Corinthians 6:20 WEB)
We pray that you will be strengthened physically, emotionally, and spiritually. May you find the motivation, discipline, and joy in exercising regularly and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. God wants us to enjoy good health.
Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be in health, even as your soul prospers. (3 John 1:2 WEB)
As you pursue fitness, remember that true strength comes from the Lord.
The LORD is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my rock, in whom I take refuge; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower. (Psalm 18:2 WEB)
We encourage you to combine your physical exercises with spiritual disciplines, such as prayer, worship, and studying God's word. This will help you grow stronger both physically and spiritually.
We notice that your request did not mention our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB), Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation. (Colossians 1:15 WEB) Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, then I will come in to him, and will dine with him, and he with me. (Revelation 3:20 WEB) And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!” (Acts 4:12 WEB) Therefore, please confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, and you will be saved; (Romans 10:9 WEB)
Let us pray together.
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You, lifting up our brother in prayer. We ask that You grant him the desire and strength to pursue physical fitness and good health. Help him to be disciplined and motivated in his pursuits, and may he find joy in exercising and taking care of his body.
Lord, we also pray for his spiritual growth. May he be strengthened in his inner being, and may Your Spirit dwell richly within him. Help him to be a shining light for You, glorifying You in all that he does.
We pray for salvation of his soul. We pray that if he has not called upon the name of Jesus Christ our Lord that he will do so today. We pray that he will confess with his mouth that Jesus Christ is Lord and believe in his heart that God raised Jesus from the dead.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
