We are truly saddened to hear about the abuse you've endured from your mother for twenty years, Juaran. We stand with you in prayer and seek God's will for your healing and restoration. Firstly we want to make sure you understand that the only way to God is through Jesus Christ.
First, let's address in Jesus name the abuse. God is clear in His word that He hates abuse and desires for us to live in loving, peaceful relationships. "But whoever would be great among you must be your servant, and whoever would be first among you must be your slave, even as the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many. For an overseer, as God's steward, must be above reproach. He must not be arrogant or quick-tempered or a drunkard or violent or greedy for gain, but hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined. He must hold firm to the trustworthy word as taught, so that he may be able to give instruction in sound doctrine and also to rebuke those who contradict it. The Lord's servant must not be quarrelsome but kind to everyone, able to teach, patiently enduring evil, correcting his opponents with gentleness.
God sees your pain and hears your cries. He is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit Psalm 34:18. We pray that God will send wise, godly people into your life to help you heal from this trauma.
We pray,
Heavenly Father, in the name of Jesus Christ, we lift up Juaran to You. We ask that You send godly counselors, mentors, and friends to support and guide Juaran through this healing journey. Give Juaran the courage to seek help, speak out the truth, and break free from the bonds of abuse. Bring forth Your justice, Lord, and help Juaran to forgive, just as You forgive us. Restore what the enemy has stolen, and bring hope and peace back into Juaran's life.
Juaran, we encourage you to seek help from local Christian resources that deal with abuse. Surround yourself with supportive believers who will uplift and encourage you. Remember that God has a plan and a purpose for your life, and He desires to see you whole and restored.
Lastly, we want to make sure you have received Jesus Christ as your personal savior and Lord, believing that Jesus died on the cross for your sins and rose from the dead so you can have eternal life with God. John 3:16-18 For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
