Roshan, we join you in your heartfelt prayer, standing in agreement before the throne of grace. We commend you for coming in the mighty name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is the only name given by which we can be saved. As scripture says, "in whom we have boldness and access in confidence through our faith in him." (Ephesians 3:12 WEB)
Firstly, we rejoice with you as you seek forgiveness and strengthening of faith, for it is written, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness." (1 John 1:9 WEB)
We stand with you in prayer for financial provision. Remember, God is the provider of all things, and He cares for our needs. "But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well." (Matthew 6:33 WEB) Trust in His provision and timing, and be patient. We do not ask for a specific amount but that God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory.
We pray for your mother's healing and comfort, knowing that God is the great physician. "Beloved, I pray that you may prosper in all things and be healthy, even as your soul prospers." (3 John 1:2 WEB)
Regarding your struggle with drinking, we must rebuke the idea of occasional drinking. Scripture tells us, "Don’t be drunk with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit." (Ephesians 5:18 WEB) We pray for complete deliverance from this habit, not control to partake occasionally. Trust God to fill you with His Spirit, removing all desire for alcohol.
We also pray for your healing, that God would restore your health and remove the swelling in your jawline and double chin. Trust in His healing power, as scripture says, "But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall." (Malachi 4:2 NIV)
We are concerned about your request to find a life partner.
We believe in the sanctity of marriage as a lifelong commitment between a man and a woman, as outlined in Ephesians 5:31, '“For this cause a man will leave his father and mother, and will be joined to his wife. The two will become one flesh.”' (WEB)
Therefore, we pray for godly spouses and marriages that honor God, and we encourage individuals to pursue relationships that align with biblical principles. Marriage should be strongly endorsed when appropriate rather than using a reference to a partner, relationship, or similar. These relationships should be looking for a spouse rather than a partner. Being a boyfriend or girlfriend should be considered courtship with the goal being marriage to another Christian Believer.
We pray your mother can witness your godly spouse and descendants worshiping the Lord Jesus.
Lastly, be encouraged by the words of Paul, "Rejoice in the Lord always! Again I will say, Rejoice." (Philippians 4:4 WEB) Trust in God's plan and timing, for He is faithful to complete the good work He began in you. (Philippians 1:6 WEB)
Heavenly Father, we lift up Roshan to You, asking for Your forgiveness, provision, healing, and guidance. Help us to overcome challenges and walk in Your path, trusting in Your plan and timing, according to Your Word, Your will, and Your way. We also lift up Roshan's mother, family, and friends. Draw them close to You, and may God's will be done in each of their lives.
We pray that Roshan's mother will be able to witness the marriage of her child and see grandchildren with her own eyes and that they will grow up worshiping the Lord Jesus being half way around the world.
We thank You for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
