We rejoice with you, dear brother or sister, as you have experienced the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ after being backslidden for many years. It is a testament to God's unfailing love and faithfulness that He saved your life and your soul. Let us come together in prayer and support for your journey of recovery and spiritual growth.
Firstly, we acknowledge the power of praying in the name of Jesus, for it is by His name that we have access to the Father and it is the only name given that we might be able to get to Heaven. As scripture says, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus 1 Timothy 2:5 WEB.
Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, thanking You for Your mercy and grace upon this dear soul. We ask that You continue to help them stay focused on You and serve You with all their heart, soul, mind, and strength. Strengthen their faith and fill them with Your Holy Spirit, guiding them in all truth and righteousness.
Father, we lift up their financial situation to You. We ask that You provide for all their needs according to Your riches in glory. Help them to be good stewards of the resources You have entrusted to them, and may they use their finances to honor and glorify Your name. Remembering, Charge them that are rich in this world, that they be not highminded, nor trust in uncertain riches, but in the living God, who giveth us richly all things to enjoy; That they do good, that they be rich in good works, ready to distribute, willing to communicate; Laying up in store for themselves a good foundation against the time to come, that they may lay hold on eternal life. 1 Timothy 6:17-19 WEB.
Lord, we also pray for their physical, mental, and emotional health. Heal them completely from the effects of their near-death experience and restore their body, mind, and spirit. Give them the strength to endure any remaining challenges and help them to trust in You completely for their healing and well-being. And he said unto her, Daughter, thy faith hath made thee whole; go in peace, and be whole of thy plague Mark 5:34 WEB.
Father, we lift up their co-residents, caregivers, family members, loved ones, friends, acquaintances, and even their enemies. We ask that Your Holy Spirit would work in their hearts, drawing them to You and revealing Your love and salvation to them. Help us to love them as You do, and to pray for them fervently. But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven: for he maketh his sun to rise on the evil and on the good, and sendeth rain on the just and on the unjust. Matthew 5:44-45 WEB.
Lord, we yield to Your Holy Spirit, asking that You would place on our hearts those whom You would have us pray for throughout the day and night. May we be faithful in interceding for others, and may Your will be done in all our prayers.
Father, we ask all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. Amen.
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord, leaning on His strength and guidance as you walk with Him daily.
