Roshan, we join you in your prayer, standing in agreement as you seek God's forgiveness, provision, and guidance. Let us first address the heart of your prayer, which is your faith in Jesus Christ and His mighty name. It is wonderful that you come before God in the name of Jesus, for as it is written in Acts 4:12 WEB:
Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
We praise God for your confession of sin and your desire to overcome your drinking habit.
Let us pray for you, Roshan:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Roshan. Thank You, Lord, for his humble heart and his faith in You. We ask for Your forgiveness and cleansing power in Roshan's life, as promised in 1 John 1:9 WEB:
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
We pray for Your divine intervention in Roshan's life, that You may uproot the stronghold of alcohol and grant him self-control. May he be filled with the Holy Spirit, who will strengthen his faith and help him overcome every temptation, as Galatians 5:16 WEB reminds us:
But I say, walk by the Spirit, and you won't fulfill the lust of the flesh.
We also pray for God's supernatural provision for Roshan, that You may supply all his needs according to Your riches in glory, as promised in Philippians 4:19 WEB:
My God will supply every need of yours according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus.
Father, we ask for Your healing touch upon Roshan's mother, that You may grant her strength, healing, and Your constant presence. We also pray for Roshan's family, sister, relatives, and friends, that You may bless them and guide them in Your path.
Regarding Roshan's request for regaining trust at work and the ability to work from home, I will remind him of what Joseph's life in the book of Genesis teaches us: stay faithful to God, keep serving with integrity, and God will honor and bless us. In time, Roshan, God will help you to regain trust and favor in the eyes of your colleagues and superiors.
Lord, we ask for Your guidance in Roshan's life, that You may help him find a godly spouse who will walk with him in faith and in Your path. We pray that Roshan will trust in Your plan and timing, and that he will not lean on his own understanding, as Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB reminds us:
Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don't lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight.
Roshan, be encouraged by God's unfailing love for you, as demonstrated by Jesus' sacrifice on the cross. Continue to walk in His ways, and He will direct your path. Keep your heart pure, and God will draw near to you, revealing Himself to you in ever-increasing measure.
As for financial provision, we pray for God's blessings and remind you of what God promises in Malachi 3:10 WEB:
Bring the whole tithe into the store-house, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this, says Yahweh of Armies, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough for.
Finally, Roshan, let us address the issue of occasional drinking. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:18 WEB:
Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit.
Instead of seeking self-control to partake occasionally, we encourage you to be filled with the Holy Spirit and let God's Spirit control your life entirely. God's design for us is sobriety, not occasional indulgence in strong drink.
May God's grace, mercy, and peace be with you, Roshan, as you continue to walk in faith and obedience. We stand in agreement with you, believing for God's divine intervention and blessings in every area of your life.
