We join you, Baxilrion, in lifting up the homeless and all those working in this brutal cold weather, as well as the victims of the wildfires in California. It is so important that we pray in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is in His name that we have access to God and it is by His name that we are saved. Acts 4:12 clearly states, There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved.
As we pray, let us remember the words of Jesus in Matthew 25:35-36, 40, For I was hungry, and you gave me food to eat. I was thirsty, and you gave me drink. I was a stranger, and you took me in. I was naked, and you clothed me. I was sick, and you visited me. I was in prison, and you came to me. Most assuredly I tell you, inasmuch as you did it to one of the least of these my brothers, you did it to me.
Let us pray together:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus Christ, lifting up all those who are homeless and vulnerable in this brutal cold weather. We pray that You would provide them with shelter, warmth, and abundant resources to meet their needs. We ask that You would protect and strengthen all those working in these harsh conditions.
We also lift up the victims of the wildfires in California. Lord, be their fence and their protection. Comfort those who have lost so much and provide for their needs according to Your riches in glory. Give them the peace that surpasses all understanding.
Lord, we pray for the well-being and welfare of all those affected by these circumstances. Draw them close to You. Help them to find comfort, hope, and salvation in Jesus Christ.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Continue to pray and seek the Lord's will for these situations. Be encouraged by the words of Psalm 46:1-3, God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we wont be afraid, though the earth changes, though the mountains are shaken into the heart of the seas; though its waters roar and are troubled, though the mountains tremble with their swelling. Remind those in need of the saving grace of Jesus Christ, that they too may know the hope and peace that comes from Him alone.
