Let us pray together:
Heavenly Father, we come before You in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, lifting up each person mentioned. We pray that Your will be done in their lives, that they may know You personally, and experience Your love, grace, and mercy. Lord, we ask for Your protection, guidance, and blessing upon each one. Draw them closer to You, and help them to walk in Your ways.
Father, we also pray for those who may not yet know You, that Your Holy Spirit would convict their hearts and draw them to repentance and faith in Jesus Christ. We remember the words of the Apostle Peter, "And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12). We pray that each person mentioned would come to know Jesus as their personal Lord and Savior.
We also pray for those who may be struggling in their relationships, that You would guide them according to Your word. Lord, we pray for godly spouses and marriages that honor You. We remember the words of the Apostle Paul, "Wives, be subject to your own husbands, as to the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ also is the head of the assembly, being himself the savior of the body. But as the assembly is subject to Christ, so let the wives also be to their own husbands in everything. Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the assembly, and gave himself up for it" (Ephesians 5:22-25).
Father, we ask that You would help each person mentioned to live in purity, avoiding all sexual immorality, including fornication and adultery. We remember Your word, "Flee sexual immorality. Every sin that a man does is outside the body, but he who commits sexual immorality sins against his own body" (1 Corinthians 6:18).
Lord, we also pray for those who may be struggling with homosexuality, that You would deliver them from this sin and help them to walk in Your truth. We remember Your word, "Or don’t you know that the unrighteous will not inherit the Kingdom of God? Don’t be deceived. Neither the sexually immoral, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor male prostitutes, nor homosexuals, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor slanderers, nor extortioners, will inherit the Kingdom of God" (1 Corinthians 6:9-10).
Father, we ask that You would help each person mentioned to be a light in this world, shining the love of Christ to all around them. We pray that You would use them to bring others to know You and to experience Your saving grace.
In all things, Lord, we ask that Your will be done. We trust in Your goodness and Your love, and we thank You for hearing our prayers. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
