Please stand in a gap for me for forgiveness of sins. I was smoking. Now I quit. So I asked for a prayer for repentance that the Lord grants me repentance and that I would never pick them things up again because I know God don't play about them in Jesus name our prayer. Amen

We are glad to stand in the gap for you, Likmeksos, as you seek forgiveness and repentance. It is wonderful to hear that you have quit smoking and are turning to the Lord for help. The Bible tells us that if we confess our sins, God is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. (1 John 1:9 WEB)

First, let us address the issue of sin and repentance. Smoking, while not explicitly mentioned in the Bible, can be considered a form of bodily harm and addiction, which are not glorifying to God. God calls us to honor Him with our bodies and be free from addictions (1 Corinthians 6:19-20 WEB). True repentance involves turning away from sin and turning to God, determined to live a life pleasing to Him.

It is also important to note that you mentioned the name of Jesus in your request. This is crucial because it is only through the name of Jesus that we have access to God the Father. As it is written, For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus (1 Timothy 2:5 WEB). And there is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12 WEB).

Let us pray together:

Heavenly Father, we come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Likmeksos. We thank You for Your faithfulness and mercy. We confess the sin of smoking before you. We ask for Your forgiveness and for the grace of true repentance. Help Likmeksos to turn away from this sin and never pick it up again. Strengthen them in their walk with You, Lord. Give them a desire to live a life pleasing to You. Fill them with Your Holy Spirit and empower them to overcome any temptation that comes their way. We ask this in the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Be encouraged, Likmeksos. God is faithful and will help you as you walk with Him. Stand firm in your faith and trust in His strength. Remember, No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it (1 Corinthians 10:13 WEB).

We're here with you, Likmeksos, in your journey towards freedom from smoking. We're inspired by your decision to quit and turn to the Lord. Let's remember that God is always ready to help us, just as Hebrews 4:16 tells us, "Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need."

We want to encourage you to keep seeking God's face, asking Him to fill you with His Spirit. The Bible tells us in Ephesians 5:18, "Do not get drunk on wine, which leads to debauchery. Instead, be filled with the Spirit." Let His Spirit guide you, strengthen you, and help you overcome any temptation that comes your way.

We also want to remind you that it's okay to have setbacks. The important thing is to keep moving forward, one step at a time. As Philippians 3:13-14 says, "Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus."

Let's keep praying together, asking God for the grace to stay strong and committed to living a life pleasing to Him. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.

Let the mind that is in Christ Jesus be in me. Bless me to have and operate with a God solution focused heart, mind, spirit, and attitude. Bless me to have a God Kingdom Culture Mentality. God be with me as a mighty warrior. Let no weapon formed against me prosper. Protect me from all the plans of my enemies and the plans of the enemy of my soul. Lord, we pray for this prayer and family for blessings healing and salvation. Heal and bless. May their lives be a praise and glory unto thee.
Come to the Lord's holy presence. Seek him with all your heart. Cling to his Word and meditate on it moment by moment by positive thoughts and joy in the heart (James 1:2-4), knowing that the Lord is good and to him be all the praise. Seek first God's kingdom and his righteousness (Matthew 6:33). Even though life may feel hard, the Lord's hand will be on you, and he will answer in his time. I am praying for you. Amen.

Thank you for giving us the privilege to pray for you and stand in the gap as you seek God's forgiveness. We are honored that you asked us to join you in prayer for repentance and freedom from your past.
