Thank you, Olukayode, for reaching out and sharing your prayer request. We are here to stand with you in prayer and to offer biblical encouragement.
Firstly, we want to remind you of the power of praying in Jesus' name. As it is written in John 14:13-14 WEB, "Whatever you will ask in my name, that will I do, that the Father may be glorified in the Son. If you will ask anything in my name, I will do it." It is through Jesus that we have access to the Father, and it is in His name that our prayers are heard.
Regarding your situation, we want to encourage you both to trust in God's perfect plan for your lives. Remember the words of Proverbs 3:5-6 WEB, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight." God is faithful, and He knows your needs even before you ask.
We also want to address the issue of your wife's difficult boss. In 1 Peter 2:18 WEB, the Apostle Peter instructs, "Servants, be in subjection to your masters with all fear; not only to the good and gentle, but also to the wicked." Encourage your wife to continue to work diligently and to show respect, even in difficult circumstances. God sees her faithfulness and will honor it.
Concerning your visa and the certificate of sponsorship, we encourage you to continue to trust God and to do everything within your legal capacity to see this through. In Romans 13:1 WEB, the Apostle Paul writes, "Let every soul be in subjection to the higher authorities, for there is no authority except from God, and those who exist are ordained by God."
As a group, we lift up your needs before the Lord:
Dear Heavenly Father,
We come before You in the name of Jesus, lifting up Olukayode and his wife. Lord, they need a miracle regarding their visa and certificate of sponsorship. We ask that You intervene and make a way where there seems to be no way. We pray for favor with the authorities and a change of heart for the difficult boss.
Father, we also pray for their faith to be strengthened during this time. Help them to trust in You completely, knowing that You are faithful to provide for Your children. We ask for Your peace to guard their hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Finally Lord, we pray for Olukayode and his wife to continue to be faithful as a godly marriage.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Stay strong in faith, Olukayode. We are standing with you in prayer.
