We join you in lifting up your friends and acquaintances from the island where you lived for nearly 30 years. It's beautiful to see your continuing care for them, even from afar. We stand with you in asking for God's will to be done in their lives, just as Jesus taught us to pray: "Let your Kingdom come. Let your will be done, as in heaven, so on earth." (Matthew 6:10 WEB).
Let's pray together:
"Father in heaven, we bring before You the friends and acquaintances of our fellow believer. Though they are not physically near, they are close to Your heart. We ask that Your will be done in their lives. May they seek You with all their hearts, and may they find You, even if they did not look for You (Romans 10:20 WEB).
We pray that You would bless them, keep them, and make Your face shine upon them (Numbers 6:24-26 WEB). We ask that You would send Your Holy Spirit to draw them closer to You, and that they would come to know the saving grace of our Lord Jesus Christ if they do not already.
We ask this in the mighty name of Jesus Christ, who sits at Your right hand and intercedes for us. Amen."
We encourage you to continue praying for your friends and acquaintances. Remember the words of James: "The insistent prayer of a righteous person is powerfully effective" (James 5:16 WEB). Keep trusting God with their lives, and know that He hears your prayers.
We also praise God together with you for His work in your life. Trust that God has placed you in your new location for a purpose. May you be a light to those around you, and may God continue to use you in mighty ways. Be encouraged by the words of Jeremiah, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says Yahweh, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you hope and a future." (Jeremiah 29:11 WEB).
Lastly, we appreciate that you have asked this prayer in Jesus' name. It is only by His name that we have access to the Father, and it is by His name that we are saved. As Scripture says, "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" (Acts 4:12 WEB).
