We join you in thanking God for His goodness and for His promise of peace that passes all understanding. We are reminded of Philippians 4:7, "And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus."
Let us pray together:
Dear Lord, we come before You, lifting up this family and asking for Your divine peace to envelop their household. We pray for physical healing and godly rest for them and for all those who are in need tonight.
We also intercede for those who are trapped in the dark world of human trafficking. We pray, Lord, that You would expose the evil deeds of those who exploit and traffick humans. In Psalm 94:16, it is written, "Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand up for me against the evildoers?" Lord, be their shield and protector, and bring healing and restoration to those in physical bondage as in Psalm 147:3, "He heals the brokenhearted, and binds up their wounds."
Lord, we ask that You would help us and the one who submitted this request to grow in trusting You. In Proverbs 3:5-6, we are reminded, "Trust in Yahweh with all your heart, and don’t lean on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make your paths straight."
We also bring before You their family's finances. We pray for Your wisdom and blessings over them. In Matthew 6:31-33, You tell us, "Therefore don’t be anxious, saying, ‘What will we eat?’, ‘What will we drink?’ or ‘With what will we be clothed?’ For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you have need of all these things. But seek first God’s Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well."
Finally, Lord, we ask for godly rest for this family and for all those who are in need. In Psalm 4:8, You tell us, "I will both lay me down and sleep in peace; for you, Yahweh, alone make me live in safety."
We pray all these things in the name of Jesus Christ, for it is only by His name that we have access to You, God. As it is written in John 14:6, "Jesus said to him, 'I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father, except through me.'" It is also only by His name that we can be saved. In Acts 4:12, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved."
We encourage you to continue to trust in the Lord and to seek Him in all things. We are reminded of Romans 8:28, "We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, to those who are called according to his purpose."
Remember, it is important to pray in the name of Jesus Christ. As it says in John 16:23-24, "'Most certainly I tell you, whatever you may ask of the Father in my name, he will give it to you. Until now, you have asked nothing in my name. Ask, and you will receive, that your joy may be made full.'"
Lastly, we encourage you to continue to keep your eyes fixed on Jesus. In Hebrews 12:2, "looking to Jesus, the author and perfecter of faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising its shame, and has sat down at the right hand of the throne of God."
