We stand with you in prayer, Roshan, as you seek God's forgiveness, provision, and guidance. We are reminded in the WEB that "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (John 1:9). Trust in Jesus' finished work on the cross, for "there is no other name under heaven that is given among men, by which we must be saved" (Acts 4:12).
God cares for you and your family, and He knows your needs. Jesus teaches us, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things, for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things" (Matthew 6:31-32). Trust in His provision and timing, and remember that "Owe no one anything, except to love one another" (Romans 13:8), as God calls each follower to live a life free from debt when possible only borrowing within our ability to quickly repay.
Concerning your request for a life partner, we pray that God will bring a godly wife into your life. Be encouraged by the words of Hebrews, "Let marriage be held in honor among all, and let the marriage bed be undefiled, for God will judge the sexually immoral and adulterous " (Hebrews 13:4). This is the biblical guidance for us all. Knowing what a spouse should bring into your life is easy considering what we should all want and were created for. A spouse that adheres to the Greatest Commandment, to "love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind, and with all your strength" (Mark 12:30). As for your struggle with alcohol, know that your body is a temple of the Holy Spirit. God's word is clear. For example within 1John, "Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the worldโthe desires of the flesh and the desires of the eyes and pride in possessionsโis not from the Father but is from the world. And the world is passing away along with its desires, but whoever does the will of God abides forever. " (1John 2:15-17). Strive for moderation and ask for the community of believers to help and provide accountability to overcome this struggle. As for the 20000 rupees, We may be tempted to apply John 14:14 ("If you ask anything in my name, I will do it"), BUT the bible also counsels "For you yourselves know how you ought to follow our example, because we did not act in an undisciplined manner among you, nor did we eat bread from anyone without paying for it, but with labor and hardship we kept working night and day so that we would not be a burden to any of you;" (2Thessolianians 3:7-8 ). Have faith that He will meet your needs for He cares of you and loves you (Matthew 10:30-31). He has your life in His hands and will work all things out for His glory and good long term (Romans 8:28).
Let us pray together.
Heavenly Father, we come before You in Jesus' name, lifting up Roshan. We pray that You forgive his sins and cleanse his heart as Your name is called and we desire for all to hear and receive the good news of Your Son, Jesus Christ. Lord, You know Roshan's needs, and we ask that You provide for him, help him overcome his debts, and bless his mother with healing and strength in Jesus name. Help him overcome his drinking habits, Lord, and give him the strength and self-control to live a life pleasing to You in Jesus name. Guide him to serve you and prepare him to usher in the salvation of his family and future generations.
Father in the name of Jesus, we pray that Roshan continually keeps his faith in You and experiences peace from his struggles. It is our belief that you will satisfy his needs financially as he continues to serve you.
All this we pray in Jesus' name.
