We stand with you in prayer, Roshan, and we appreciate your heartfelt request. We come together in the mighty name of Jesus, the only name by which we can be saved (Acts 4:12), and through whom we have access to the Father (John 14:6). Let us pray and offer guidance according to God's will and His word.
Firstly, we rejoice with you as you've asked for forgiveness of your sins. Remember, "If we confess our sins, he is faithful and righteous to forgive us the sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness" (WEB, 1 John 1:9).
Concerning your debts, we pray that God will provide for your needs according to His riches in glory (Philippians 4:19). Remember Jesus' words, "Therefore don't be anxious, saying, 'What will we eat?', 'What will we drink?' or, 'With what will we be clothed?' For the Gentiles seek after all these things; for your heavenly Father knows that you need all these things. But seek first God's Kingdom, and his righteousness; and all these things will be given to you as well" (WEB, Matthew 6:31-33).
Regarding your mother's healing, we pray that God will strengthen her physically and be with her at all times. "Is any among you sick? Let him call for the elders of the assembly, and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord" (WEB, James 5:14).
We also pray for God's blessings upon your family, your sister's family, and your relatives and friends. Remember, "Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, nor turning shadow" (WEB, James 1:17).
We must address your request about drinking habits. The Bible warns, "Don't be drunken with wine, in which is dissipation, but be filled with the Spirit" (WEB, Ephesians 5:18). We encourage you to pursue sobriety, as it is the best path for a disciple of Christ! In addition, we encourage you to consider the goal of courtship as finding a Christian spouse.
Lastly, we commend your desire to settle in life, get married, and honor your mother. "Two are better than one, in that they have good success in their labor. For if they fall, the one will lift up his fellow; but woe to him who is alone when he falls, and doesn't have another to lift him up" (WEB, Ecclesiastes 4:9-10).
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we come before you in Jesus' name, lifting up Roshan. Lord, provide for his needs according to your riches in glory. Heal his mother, and be with her always. Bless his family and friends, and help him to find and marry a godly wife that he will get to know through courtship while following your will for his life. Help him walk in the path of righteousness and sobriety. Your will be done. Lord Jesus, thank you for what you will provide for Roshan. AMEN.
Encourage, today is the day of salvation (2 Corinthians 6:2).
