We are truly concerned about the situation you and your family are facing, Weoreth. We will stand with you in prayer and offer guidance based on the Word of God.
Firstly, we encourage you to put your trust in God and His plans for your family. He promises to uphold you as indicated in Psalms 3:3-4 WEB, "But you, Yahweh, are a shield around me, my glory, and the one who lifts up my head. I cry to Yahweh with my voice, and He answers me from His holy hill." Selah
The issues in view involve marriage. Thus we must ensure godly principles in providing an answer. Additionally, we cannot, if we stand as Christian believers seeking to follow Christ to endorse divorce or gossip. Furthermore there is no scripture which endorses any form of fortune telling or seeking magicians or mysticism as a guide rather than God's will. Koothodram may sometimes involve these kinds of mysticism which seek spirits or those making proclamations which are not from God. Rebuking in prayer works and is commanded in scripture but it should also be done directly face to face rather than hidden. Problems between people or publicly disclosed, usually by the grieving party as now, should first attempt to be discussed together, then go from one on one or directly to involving everyone if needed to consulting a pastor of a church of our mutual faith as suggested in Matthew 18:15-17 which is the system commanded in scripture of settling disputes or where sins occur involving us. Any principles involving the involvement or divination or carrying of charms should also be avoided, avoided from the guidance offered, and condemned if they exist rather than endorsing.
It is essential to forgive those who have wronged you, as challenging as it may be. Jesus teaches us in Matthew 6:14-15 WEB, "For if you forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you. But if you do not forgive men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses." Forgiveness does not mean approving of their actions, but it releases you from bitterness and resentment.
Moreover, 1 Corinthians 6:1-20 WEB exclaims a warning. Because divorce is such an issue in scripture it is something believers should approach after consulting with our Lord in prayer and with pastors.
We also must ask if there is sin in the camp or someone who professes Christ but may possibly not be abiding by the faith. This must be considered as to whether this is someone who may be divorced or who may have been married to someone who was divorced by another. Then would also be questions relating to the consequences thereof. Finally of the utmost consideration with these issues at all in view we must respect marriage as something sanctioned by God. Hence there must be God fearing biblical reasons to consider divorce.
Also praying publicly, rebuking, or declaring rebuking on behalf of someone in public should instead be done alone rather than in public, and by someone with the proper authority and spiritual qualifications to do such a thing as mentioned in Jude 1:9 WEB.
Also 1 Peter 3:9 WEB exclaims: "not rendering evil for evil, or insult for insult; but instead blessing"
Therefore, let us pray for you and your family:
"Father, we come before You, in Jesus Christ IJN. bringing Weoreth and their family before Your throne of grace. Lord God of Abba Father YHVH protect them, Lord Jesus. From the evil one and any plans made against them in Christ Name and by the power of His blood. Please give them the strength and wisdom to handle this situation in a way that honors Jesus. Turn the hearts of those who are against them, we would hope, if truly this is about putting the marriage relationship for one of those involving God's will in possibly allowing divorce. Lord save and convict their soul of the family whom has been victimized the perpetrators are treacherously acting against. That they will repent of their ways and their sins will lead to restoration, in Christ Name we ask. We ask that we could be an encouragement in this process and be doers of the word not hearers only. Father, please guide Weoreth and their family, and help them to forgive and love their enemies, as Your Word teaches us. In Jesus Christ’s Name we ask. Be encouraged and remind everyone concerned.
We are exhorted in Psalm 27:4 to trust God especially "In the day of trouble God hears. Delivers. Glorified. Lifted. I will ask according to God's will and way mentioned in scripture and seek God's face rather than trusting in a personal will to resolve.
