Roshan, we stand with you in prayer, seeking God's will for your life. We are thankful you trust Jesus' name for your requests and you are confessing Jesus as savior and Lord. We will respond to each of your concerns and offer biblical guidance, rebuking, and encouragement.
Firstly, we commend you for approaching the throne of grace with boldness and for acknowledging Jesus as the only way to the Father. It is only in the name of Jesus that we have access to God To be saved, we need to repent of our sins and sincerely believe in Jesus Christ. (Acts 4:12, John 14:6, Acts 2:38-39) For whoever will call on the name of the Lord will be saved. (Romans 10:13). Also as believers in Jesus Christ who have called on him to forgive our sins then we become Children of God and may ask for his help.As a child of God, you have a loving Father who cares for you and knows your needs. (Matthew 7:7-11)
Regarding your financial struggles, we encourage you to trust in God's provision. Remember that God cares for even the smallest details of our lives, (Matthew 6:25-34) and he will supply all your needs according to his riches in glory in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 4:19). Also, remember the Bible encourages us to avoid financial traps and to live within our means to avoid the continuous borrowing and debt you mentioned. (Proverbs 22:7). Working (Proverbs 12:11) and saving (Proverbs 6:11) go hand in hand to accomplish this and avoid harassing debt collectors and possibly family members.. As long as you are looking to Jesus as your savior, you are one of God's heirs and co-heirs with Christ. (Romans 8:17)
Concerning your mother's health, we pray for God's healing and comfort. (James 5:14-15) Remember that God is the ultimate healer, and he promises to be with us in times of trouble. (Psalms 50:15)
We also pray for your family and friends, that God will bless your sister and her family's health, spiritual growth, and provide their needs abundantly. (John 10:10)
Regarding your desire to settle in life, get married, and find a life partner, we pray that God will guide you to a godly Christian spouse. In Christian marriage the goal is likewise to give God glory and honor and to be a representative of God's love. (Ephesians 5:25) Start praying and developing the qualities you need as a God-fearing husband and father to a new potential Godly family. (1 Timothy 5:8) Your desire to get married is commendable and even an instruction also not to allow lust and sexual immorality to creep into your life and conquer you as this is a continuous temptation in Christian singles. We are warned against fornication and adultery in the scriptures (1 Corinthians 7:2). We will pray for your spouse.
We must address your drinking habits. The Bible warns against drunkenness and strong drink as it can control us and lead us into bad decisions.(Ephesians 5:18) Praying for control of your drinking may not be the answer. Complete abstinence may be the best route for you to avoid potential pitfalls and for your body to be a holy, living sacrifice to the Lord. (Romans 12:1) Building discipline and getting control of this area of your life now will definitely bless you and your future marriage as well.
Finally, we pray that God will cleanse your heart and help you to focus on him during prayer and always. May the Lord granted you peace and willingness to pursue him and be an alert and faithful servant (1 Peter 4:7) May God strengthen your faith and help you to walk in his even if the way is narrow and some do not, as you mentioned, find it at this moment. (Matthew 7:13-14)
Father, we come together and pray for your promises to be fulfilled in Roshan's life and his wait and preparation for marriage. Remind him and bring joy to him daily. Lord turn his mourning into dancing. Pour out your love on him and may he never suppress the Spirit of God. rather test everything and hold on to the good.
