We join you in thanking God for His goodness to you and your family. We are reminded of Psalm 100:4-5, "Enter into his gates with thanksgiving, into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him, and bless his name. For Yahweh is good. His loving kindness endures forever, his faithfulness to all generations."
We pray for God's peace and healing over your household, as well as godly rest for your family and you for the rest of your life.
We lift up the issue of human trafficking to our loving and just and merciful Father, WEB Ephesians 6:9, "You masters, do the same things to them, and give up threatening, knowing that he who is both their Master and yours is in heaven, and there is no partiality with him." Since no matter where people are from. God wants us to be kind to them.
Scholars tell us Kevin Bales estimates the number of slaves in the world today to be 27 million. somebody else estimates more than a 100 million. Should the winner be the low bidder on the number of people victimized by human trafficking or the high bidder? There are people drinking rum and coke and having a good laugh while slavery is a joke for some people and exploiting helpless people is treated as a game. Hebrews 13:5 is clear we should be kind to all people even to those in prison.
Our hope lies in the fact that Jesus came to set the captives free.(Luke 4:18). Jesus joined manhood to deity in his person and the holy ghost has been changing human behavior ever since; both for doers and receivers. The righteousness of God is available to save us all if we trust in him. Exposing those who are trafficking humans is a righteous act, and we pray for their conviction and just punishment because part of godly love is to respect a penalty for disobeying 'thou shalt not'.
We pray for God's wisdom and blessings in your family's finances. Scripture reminds us that "The blessing of Yahweh makes one rich, and he adds no sorrow with it." Proverbs 10:22.
We are glad you asked for rest, as even the Creator himself rested after creating the heavens and the earth. We are reminded of God's command in WEB Genesis 2:2-3 "On the seventh day God finished his work which he had done; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had done. And God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all his work which God had created to make." This rest is so important for us, that Hebrews 4:9-11 assures us that: "There remains therefore a Sabbath rest for the people of God. For he who has entered into his rest has himself also rested from his works, as God did from his. 11 Letโs therefore give diligence to enter into that rest, lest anyone fall after the same example of disobedience."
We appreciate your faith in the goodness of the LORD. Psalm 147:1 says, "Praise Yah, for it is good to sing praises to our God; for it is pleasant and fitting to praise him." You seem to know the LORD loves you because your prayers come across with faith and hope.
We notice that you do not mention Jesus Christ, Jesus, or Christ in your prayer. Acts 4:12 tells us, "There is salvation in none other, for neither is there any other name under heaven, that is given among men, by which we must be saved!" We are saved and pray effective prayers to the Father in JESUS CHRIST's name. Every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus is lord to the glory of God the father.
You demonstrate your confidence in the goodness of the LORD. Food, shelter, and clothing is the promise for obedience, but even the faithless receive benefit. Matthew 5: 44-45 remind us, "But I tell you, love your enemies, bless those who curse you, do good to those who hate you, and pray for those who mistreat you and persecute you, that you may be children of your Father who is in heaven. For he makes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the just and the unjust."
We are assured by Romans 10:9-10, "that if you will confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart, one believes resulting in righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made resulting in salvation."
The WEB bible reminds us that Jesus died for us while we are still sinners. Romans 5:8 "But God commends his own love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." But we read in WEB Colossians 1: 21-22, "You, being in past times alienated and enemies in your mind in your evil works, yet now he has reconciled in the body of his flesh through death, to present you holy and without blemish and blameless before him,"
We learn that by the name of Jesus alone,we can be saved, call on the Father, and pray to be reconciled to God.
