We join you in thanking God for His goodness to you and your family. Let at the start admonish us all as the opening of the prayer requests did not mention or thank the name of Jesus Christ, our Lord and Savior. We must come to God through Jesus. It is only by the name of Jesus that we have access to God. Also, there is no other name by which we can be saved.
**How then will they call on him in whom they have not believed? And how are they to believe in him of whom they have never heard?, Jesus, being Lord is the key to this salvation, believing in him** (Romans 10:14 WEB). Let us first remember that we have this access to our Heavenly Father, God, by Jesus Christ: **for through him we both have our access in one Spirit to the Father** (Ephesians 2:18).
We pray for the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, to guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:7). May God grant you and your family physical healing and godly rest tonight.
**Come to me, all you who labor and are heavily burdened, and I will give you rest** (Matthew 11:28).
Remember God's promise in 1 Peter 5:7 **Cast all your worries on him, because he cares for you** and **Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time** (1 Peter 5:6).
We stand with you in praying for the exposure of those involved in human trafficking. May God bring them to justice and provide healing and protection for those in physical bondage. Jesus said, "Most certainly I tell you, whatever things you bind on earth will have been bound in heaven, and whatever things you release on heaven will have been released in heaven** (Matthew 18:18). **The LORD is a refuge for the oppressed, a refuge in times of trouble** (Psalm 9:9)
Trust in God is the key to the Kingdom. **Jesus declared, “I tell you the truth, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven** (Matthew 18:3)
We pray for His wisdom and blessings to be evident throughout your finances (Proverbs 3:5-6). **Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil** (Ephesians 6:10).
We also rebuke the belief that financial security can be achieved without God. Only His blessings will sustain you and one way we receive financial blessings and honor God is to pay tithes, "**Bring the whole tithe into the store-house, that there may be food in my house, and test me now in this," says Yahweh of Armies, "if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there will not be room enough for** (Malachi 3:10).
Let us join in the prayer of King David especially with respect to God together. **For all the gods of the peoples are idols, But Yahweh made the heavens** (Psalm 96:5)
**You are my hiding place and my shield. I hope in your word** (Psalm 119:114).
Amen.
